I like beer can chicken as well as a good old fashioned pot roast. I usually sprinkle instant onion soup mix over it before I bake it. Gives the broth and potatoes and other veg a good flavor. Ribs on the grill here tonight. It's a warm evening.

Nah, I went up the hills and ran around the mountain chasing after the wee bugger lol. It's great fun though. Dead easy to prepare them, just pull off the legs and away you go!

A bunch of us drove way out into the country for some great Georgia barbecue. The kind of place with wood shavings for a floor and thick smoke from the BBQ cooker fills the air.) I had pulled barbecue pork smothered heavily, just totally soaked, in very hot vinegar barbecue sauce (hot enough to make my head break out into a sweat), brunswick stew, sweet cole slaw, potato chips, dill pickles, white loaf bread and a few ice cold beers in a glass long neck bottles. And peach cobbler for dessert.
