What is your favorite word and why?
I have three: Sizzle because it is awesome to say and it sounds good. A good example of onomatopoeia. Hipoteca because it makes me laugh. It means mortgage in spanish Kartoffelpufferpfannenfett because it is a really long german word that is fun to say and is a really yummy dish.

Lagom, a swedish word. It's a word you use to say that something isn't too much nor too little it's not perfect and it's not enough. it's just there as content but in a neutral form...

Saudade.
check this out:
Wikipedia.
Saudade (singular) or saudades (plural) (pronounced [sawˈdadɨ] in European Portuguese, [sawˈdadʒi] or [sawˈdadi] in Brazilian Portuguese, and [sawˈdade] in Galician) is a Portuguese and Galician word for a feeling of nostalgic longing for something or someone that one was fond of and which is lost. It often carries a fatalist tone and a repressed knowledge that the object of longing might really never return.

Sugar.
It always puzzled me, almost in all the languages around the world, no matter what their origins are, it's almost the same.
Zucker, sugar, şeker, Şakir, sucre, even in latin, saccar (saccarites)

Energize, because I'm a Trekkie and it's a buzz word.

enigma ~ it different and because i was called it once and ever since i have loved the word
“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and unspeakable love.” ~ Washington Irving
"Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It make you so vulnerable. It opens up your chest and it opens up your heart and it mean someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole set of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different than any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life... You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. The did something du mb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and your life isn't yours anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. Eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should just be friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. Its a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love." ~Neil Gaima

MALAKA - greek word meaning a) one who plays with himself, allot. Can also be used as noun, adjective and verb. (nods to ling-li) can also be used for female: malakiezmeno, same definition.
COME MIERDA - (although its two words in spanish, when said emphatically, sounds like one) - shit eater, love the way it rolls off the tongue in spanish.
