well, i have always been out with taller men seein as im 5"2 but i once dated a man who as 5"4 and i actually didnt feel safe or loved! Had to leave him after a few months. Before him i was with a man who was 6ft8! And now im with someone who is 6ft6!!! So, i have to say i LOVE really tall men, they make me feel so safe and i love standin on my tip toes for kisses! LOVE IT!

i like tall guys. im kinda short so it really isnt the problem. but the taller the better.
if your tall it just makes you more attractive. doesnt mean i wont date someone who is 5'9 instead of 6'2 i just think tall guys are more attractive

It's hard for me to say. I'm pretty short, but I've never really been put off talking to a man because of his height as long as they're articulate and confident. If their height bothers them, it's pretty easy to tell, unfortunately.

I'm the kind of girl that likes both tall and short guys but i prefer tall guys looking up into there eyes before a kiss is always a magical moment for me as it creates a trust between me and the guy.
And that's why i prefer guys that are taller then me. Not saying that short guys are bad... just saying that tall guys are more attractive for me and probably a lot of other girls.

I prefer taller guys. I'm 5'6 so I am nearly 5'10 in heels, so if a guy isn't at least 5'10 I'd feel too self-conscious in heels. Plus, there is nothing sexier than safe and small next to a tall guy.

one of the reasons ive seen that the women posting are looking for a taller guy was to feel safe and secure, what if the short guy say 5'4 was really strong and you felt safe with him, does that help you get past the short factor?

I am 5'7 .... I like my man over 6 feet. I love to wear heels and really, don't want to look down on my man. Besides, what man at 5'4" could toss me over his shoulders ..... or hold me up against the wall in a passion fuck?? Of course, I could be friends with a man shorter than me .... but honestly, the men I date are taller, for a good reason.

I'm 5'3 and I do not like for my guy to be shorter than me it's just no fun. I think 5'5 is a good height. No I would not catagorize them with another man that is unattractive in some other way. It's not that short guys turn me off or is a deal breaker. I just personally enjoy a man that can pick me up and fuck me. Being short causes problems for that position.

I kid, I'm awesome regardless of my height. However I have to agree that it definitely is a disadvantage. More so in the club scene than anything else though.
I'm 5'4. I'm fairly attractive, overly confident and I can dance well. Despite this, I find it more difficult to "pick up" women on the dancefloor than in any other situation...period. Having said that, because of my fun an energetic nature, I've been able to "attract" women...in the sense where they'd literally follow me around the dancefloor. But this is much less a physical attraction and more to do with me projecting a "popular" and "important person" vibe. Despite this attraction, many girls still won't dance with me...like I said it isn't a physical attraction, they just try to leech off the attention I create. Lol.
Now, if we step away from the dancefloor, my height disadvantage is GREATLY reduced. I have been rejected on a dancefloor by many women, only to get a hook up or a number from the same women outside, or in the smokers area or pretty much any place where my conversational prowess makes me the alpha male, regardless how puny I am.
So all in all, having first hand experience, I agree that it is a fairly big disadvantage for a guy to be short. Especially in scenes where physical attraction is dominant. As well as I do with women, I strongly believe that more than 50%(at least) of the women that have rejected me, was because of my height.
If you are a short guy reading this, don't feel too bad. As big of a role as physical attraction plays in initial sexual attraction, that's usually about as far as it goes. I've seen hundreds of taller guys have very attractive women dance with them all night, only to ruin all the attraction they built as soon as they walk out of the club and open their mouth. Just remember, there are different "types" of attraction. Physical attraction is only one type and all though it is fairly important (anyone who says otherwise is simply naive), it usually has very little purpose beyond initial attraction.

Sadly I will never date a guy shorter then. This gets hard since I'm 5.7. Most of my friends think the same thing. But there are short girls out there who will like a guy around 5.5. Easier to kiss lol

I'm 5' 1 and a 1/4", and so far, every man I have met in life has been taller than me. An initial physical looks head-turner for me is somebody who is slightly wider than most other lasses go for, but it doesn't happen very often. I don't mind what a lad looks like if I was thinking about fancying him, as long as he's kind, laughs a lot, and thinks farting is funny.  Having said that, if I did meet somebody who was shorter than me and I liked him, I would be terrified of flattening him, unless he told me he likes being flattened, in which case, it would be fine.

As a vertically challenged lass, I must say a man's height is extremely important. The vast majority of men who are drawn to me tend to be 6 foot or over, which is much too tall.

I love a taller man, I'm 5' 4 and my preference is 6'+. It's not a hard and fast rule, I regularly bend it a little, and for the right person I'm sure it wouldn't be a deal breaker. There is just something so lovely about having to stand on your tip toes for a kiss, or your having your head pressed against his chest as he holds you to him.
