I went to Sinead O'Connor tonight at Oran Mor (a tiny wee venue in Glasgow).

I have to say that it was one of the best gigs I have ever been to.
She has such a powerful voice.

At one point (which actually made me cry), she dedicated a song to PC David Rathband (the policeman who was blinded by Raoul Moat, and sadly took his own life last week)

This was the song and how it sounded... Very moving...


(she dedicates the song in this particular clip to someone else, but the version is the same)

She did this too - it was absolutely amazing - I loved the album this came from at the time, had all but forgotten it until I heard it tonight...

Please give it a listen...

I've heard Aranda on a certain Sirius station quite a few times, I like 'em...especially acoustically, voices mix together well.
