I do have a penchant for physically fit bad-boy and/or alpha male types. Within this "type" you can get the really intelligent ones with a bit of an artistic streak (ideal for me) OR you can get the charming/psycho assholes (bad). I've had both. They have all typically been within a 5 yr age-range from me. They were not gushy, overly romantic, instantly fall-at-my-feet type guys. They knew how to keep me interested/wanting until they had my total attention. More guys should try this approach btw, especially with girls that are used to always getting lots of attention. There was one exception to these trends but he was a minor blip in my dating history and was a rebound where I was purposely trying to choose someone outside my norm (it didn't last long and in retrospect, he was my worst dating choice ever).

It's hard to fit all my exes into one pattern. There was a lot of diversity, some older than me, some younger. But they might fit in the broad category of "disturbed". But they ALL thought I was a really great cook!!

I mostly attract shy, little bit geeky guys, hence why I have only had 2 real boyfriends. In general, i am a nice person, i get on with and chat to everybody. However, for the guys who very rarely get any female attention, they misconstrue my genuine niceness for 'holy shit, she must like me!'. Then the awkwardness begins where he overly flirts with me (not very well) and i have to have the 'turning him down nicely conversation'. I like to think i attract people that i would actually like and fancy too but im mostly too shy to try and find out
