Lads, I've seen quite a few porn-type pictures now, with these sorts of shoes:
 
Do you guys find the massive platform look attractive, or something? Is it sexy? I just think it makes a lass's feet look really big and clunky. Is it so she's taller and therefore easier to snog? Or because they're harder to walk in, so she's more likely to "fall onto you"?
What do these platforms add that simple high heels don't? Apart from extra inches?

If I remember right... Maxwell Smart's shoe was a phone. I could be wrong though, It's a little before my TV watching time. Where's WMM to correct me on this?  I'm quite comfortable running around in a 3.5" heel without the lift in the front. Any higher than that puts all the pressure on my toes and I have difficulty walking. The platform makes it comfortable to wear a 6inch stiletto without looking like a duck out of water. My partner always called my heels "Handles" Plus... they're just sexy as hell!

Women wear heels to feel good about themselves, yes? A woman is (generally) more attractive if she feels good about herself and has confidence in her own looks. Also, I like a tall gal with big feet, so I'm all over those heels. Stop watching so much porn, Shylass.

They're designed to tilt you forward so that the legs look toned and your ass is tight and slightly pushed back/out to compensate for balance. So... that's the reason why women wear them - they ergonomically make your lower half look as good as it can. Also as someone else mentioned, strippers and porn stars are often very tiny/short - around the 5'2 range, so they need the heels. I like them when I'm going out or esp. paired with skinny jeans and have plenty of 4-6 inch stacked stilettos, including one see-through pair like the image posted at the top of the thread that I bought from a stripper-gear shop that are a total bitch to wear, so I just keep them for bedroom dress-up use now. My feet have taken a beating from years of dancing though, so unless I'm going out at night I prefer flats, especially in the summer. There are so many sexy flats right now too and I find you can do a sluttier or more bare outfit and go with flats and it looks fine - like you're not trying too hard... Whereas once you strap on those 6'inchers it just screams for 'look at me' attention... which is fine now and then, but I actually think flats can look more modern sometimes.

I think the look unnatural and really sore. Who the hell would want to walk on their toes anyway? I much prefer to see a lady in strappy sandals with a slight heel.
