Everywhere I look it seems I see women hiding their ass. Usually a sweatshirt wrapped around the waist or simply just dressing in a way that completely hides it.
When I started to ponder this my first thought was why hide it? Guys love looking at women it doesn't have to be what the media considers perfect for the average Joe like myself to love it right? Then something else occurred to me. I remember in high school hearing in the hallways some girls referring to other girls (ones they did not care for obviously) as fat ass or bubble butt. I even remember one poor girl being called Hindenbutt although she DID have a nice big ass.
So, are you hiding that luscious rump from us? or other ladies? neither? both?

I never hide my butt. It's there for all to see in all it's glory.  Maybe some girls are just having a bad day and don't want to show it off.

For me it's not my bum I'm trying to cover up but rather my hips.... so I often wear slightly longer tops that skim over my hips - but they skim over the ass as well.
Someone once said to me 'it's okay, you have child bearing hips'....yeah, TRIPLET bearing hips. Urgh!

Don't worry, it isn't always so, just when I'm having 'one of those days', you know, the ones where a girl'll look in the mirror and announce 'I look fat'. I hate mu butt. I cover it up at all opportunities. It is fat and my hips have ALL the evidence of childbirth! A lot of women are self concious and we shouldn't be made to feel bad by telling us you want to look at our buts. To me that is mt WORST nightmare. I hope i am not the only one who is brave enough to admit this.

I used to cover up my butt... until I realized it was like covering up a baby grande piano... yes, there's a covering over it, but you can still tell there's a piano under there!!! :) I'm resigned to my butt... but I'm with Maz - NOT liking my tummy much, either. :P
