Actually, Facebook is not the only site with "like" buttons...for instance, you can go over to this page on Amazon and hit the "like" button... Lush Erotica, an Anthology of Award Winning Sex Stories [Kindle Edition]http://www.amazon.com/Erotica-Anthology-Winning-Stories-ebook/dp/B00838YM8C/ref=la_B0084J97OE_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1339700491&sr=1-7There are really quite a few sites with "like" buttons, and the functionality sort of varies to some degree depending on the site... I see what you did there There's nothing Gav can touch in the forum code. It's out of bounds. I'm not keen on the lush button, people who aren't familiar with the site will have no idea what it's about. Nice button all the same, whoever made it!

Giving them an option to share their opinion with the click of a mouse, might convince them to actually share it instead of just leaving. What is this lush-button you peeps are talking about? So, does this mean there won't be a "like" button on every post?
And you're not going to change the name of the site to Lushbook either???

I DON'T CONCEDE WITH THAT IDEA, FOR IT WILL ONLY MAKE CERTAIN PEOPLE BE ALIENATED IN THE VACANT ROOM IF WE TEND TO DISLIKE THEIR OPINIONS IN THE FORUM AND WORSE, THEY WOULD LEAVE THE LUSH BECAUSE OF SOLITUDE IF WE'RE GOING TO HAVE THAT LIKE AND UNLIKE BUTTON. I'M CONTENTED IF SOMEBODY SILENTLY DISLIKES MY IDEAS (AND MY STYLE OF WRITING TOO! ANYWAY I LOATHED THEM TOO.hihi just kidding aside) BUT DISLIKING A STATEMENT IS VERY BLATANT!

Magical_felix wrote:I think they said before that a like button in the forum would be a bitch to implement cause the forum code is more fucked up than tommie chong... I would like one though. I don't see a problem with people liking posts. If there is a debate going on and one side gets a bunch of likes and the other doesn't then we can see what people think. What's wrong with that?
Also, if people that don't usually post or anything do happen to get brave enough to post and someone likes what they said they might post more.
Just a like button, not a dislike button. I can see people crying about favoritism or hurt feelings or whatever over a dislike button... But I have wanted to say hey, that was funny or smart but a whole post just to kiss ass isn't really adding to a thread so a like button would be cool.

it might be nice to be able to like a friends photo i feeel obligated to comment but may not have something potent to say so a like button of some kind on friends pics might be handy.

I think that it's not such a bad idea to have it on ones profile(for pictures, playlist, videogallery, friendscomments). Since Lush loves to be customizable for every person's enjoyment I think that having like button on/off option would be rather neat.
