I suddenly realised tonight that I have written some stories in many more categories than I ever thought I could even attempt. When I first joined Lush, I cringed at even "Straight Sex" (okay, I still do, but it's not the point). So, I decided to see which categories I have written in (and how many in total). I am vaguely toying with the idea of picking something as a challenge to myself, although I doubt I really would, and I think I have been challenged enough since January! I usually write the story, and then see which category it fits best.

I would be really interested to see what other people have, whether they favour a category, or are across the board. I will list my categories, and then the number in the bracket is the amount of pieces I did.

Wow lol I didn't think I had did that many. I know I like to try to my hand at different genres but damn !

Something I think about myself quite a lot. I find it interesting that some authors come on here and stick predominantly to one category whereas others dabble in almost every category.

I haven't written all that much but they're fairly diverse. The whole point of The Ethan Blake Story is to have each story in a different category (with almost every category to be covered). I came up with that idea in order to challenge myself to write outside of my perceived comfort zone. I really need to get going with that series; I'm such a lazy writer these days.

Does a novel count as one story or does each chapter count as a story? I think I'll go with each chapter of a novel or series counting as a story but then put the number of series in that category in (). I guess I also need to keep in mind that within novels and series, there are bits that would fit in other categories (egs. lesbian, first time, cuckold)
