People seem to equate sex and love. Sex can be a very special way of showing someone you love them, but it can also just be a way to enjoy yourself. If you tend to think of it only the first way, then sharing your partner is likely to be a huge turnoff, but if you look at it more the second way, it's more likely to be a turnon. I tend to think of it both ways.
