Pretty eye opening stuff. I think John Stossel is a pretty objective guy and he hit all of this stuff from all sides. I've said it all along, each time government takes away a seemingly small and insignificant freedom/right it makes it easier to take away the next slightly bigger freedom/right.

Reference the quick implementation of the original Patriot Act (and all steps since then, to harden it). Like this was not already written by committed neo-nazis, edited, rewritten and sitting in a folder on someone's PNAC client server back in 1998, just waiting to be unveiled and installed. The sad fact is... apparently everyone in our US governement is either a neo-nazi or an admirer (or too fucking cowed to stand up and rail against this piece of shiite legislation).
