Oh yeah...there are a couple of new theaters here in NJ that are doing something along those lines...dinner and a movie type thing...haven't really tried them yet, have a feeling the food is probably way overpriced as typical in theaters... I'll agree with Buz though about popcorn and beer...one of those big theater sized popcorn tubs lasts a while... Too bad you can no longer buy a 64 ounce grape soda in NY theaters though...

At home I make a butter, brown sugar, papriki and lime reduction for popcorn. It tastes pretty dam good, even if I do say so myself
