Hi guys, I've been doing some marathon viewing of a couple of favourite shows. Specifically TRUE BLOOD and LOST GIRL. Guess I'm not surprised about the highly erotic nature of an HBO series, but the Basic Cable's, Lost Girl's open eroticism and very bi sexual nature kind of surprised me. Guess I'm curious to hear what you think of this, and other shows. How long will it be before there is a Lush Stories cable channel? What do you think the sexiest shows on TV are, not the porn channels.
How long till someone says leave it to Beaver?

I love Trueblood :)
I think sex isint as taboo as it used to be. That and HBO is always about pushing there limits But i guess it works with all the nominations and awards they get :)

Cable doesn't have the restrictions that regular tv has and can push the limits more as far as nudity.sex, and more adult subjects

Cinemax is one that is very open with erotic shows late at night such as, "Lingerie," "Life on Top," "Femme Fatales" among others.
I'll be honest, I only glance at them when I get a free preview of the Cinemax channels. Sometimes they are good, and then sometimes, the soft-core they show is so cheesy, you wonder if it really could happen in real life.
As erotic as those shows are, some of the regular television shows we have can be more erotic and sensual and more true to life. It's just a matter of preference.

I've seen Fem Fatales, not a bad show. What really surprised me was the blatant sexually and bi sexuality in Lost Girl, on the SciFi channel. I would think that thats a channel seldom blocked by parents.

I thought the ill fated HBO show The Mind of the married man was erotic, realistic and truly right on target. Unfortunately it didn't get the approval of enough people to stay alive. It lasted I believe only one season. The main character had a beautiful wife and a very young child and he had also more lust than hairs. It was explicit as HBO could make it without call it porn. It was however as the title implies about his thought, he was not a serial cheater and the stroggle that he faced with love for his wife and the opportunity of the many gorgeous women out there.
For a network is only about money and as a result some show may not get enough time or the right spot to survive. Maybe the show was not welcomed by the opposite sex.
