I find it bizarre that incest is the most popular category here, of which I've written a feq and yet my most popular story is a MILF one. I guess MILF is the closest to the taboo of incest without crossing that line.

My most viewed story is a reluctance story actually...and yeah, I found the whole incest popularity thing a bit amusing when I joined Lush back in 2009...myself and a couple of other people used to joke about it often...that's why I wrote that poem btw...

I have to confess that my only incest story was written just to see how many views it would get. I couldn't really take it seriously, though.

You're not the only one btw...my poem, that was mentioned here for instance, contains a line "incest, a game the whole family can play"...that was an old joke my friend Tom from high school used to say...

My friend Tom now works for the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC...he's head of the board that determines how computers are used in schools in the U.S.A. btw...and I'm quite certain wants no connection with that poem, which btw, has over 34k views on another site...

I'm just sayin'...I'm quite sure a number of incest related stories were not written with serious intent...I know none of mine were...

ok... but if no poem has ever received it should there be a different point and maybe say "famous poem" or something... poems just don't get read the same way stories do...

like i said... self-serving... i am causing myself to blush with shame...

I don't think it's self-serving unless you post the suggestion written on your naked body and photographed as you lounge on a silver platter with pink sprinkles and chocolate sauce drizzled all over you.

Actually, I think it's a very good idea. I think poetry is a whole separate medium (I don't know if that's the right word) to story writing and story telling, although there are obvious overlaps.

Poetry has the power to evoke deep emotion and create worlds of change in just a few words. And stiffen willies and dampen pussies, obviously.

Just like stories, everybody has a different idea about what qualifies as "good" or not. But it is a very different skill to story writing in many ways, and has a different readership overall than the stories do.

I actually think there should be an Editors' Poetry Pick category with a different coloured ribbon (I like purple!) to that of the yellow Editors' Pick usually found on the stories.

Lush has a great number of incredibly talented poets, and I would love to see them recognised for that particular skill in such a way.

Ladies, I just caught this thread. Concerned as to how you plan to portray yourself and your works,
maybe you should run those images past me first? My 2 cents

Hey all, I've got 5 stories over 25,000 views, so please spread the rumor that there is incest in them so they can get to 30,000.

There is incest if you think about. Don't we all have the same ancestor, Genetic Eve?

Okay! Okay! She lived 250,000 years ago and still hadn't shed her entire hairy body covering. But stlll...
