Aww. It's going to take a bit more effort than that. Try mingling in the chat rooms or something. Try getting to know someone before blindly adding friends. Don't sell yourself short.

I agree with everything slippery has said. Also if you do go into the chat rooms then take the time to look at peoples profiles as well to see what they are into and if they have any rules that you'd have to follow when trying to become friends with them.
