Yes. I don't know what causes it. But sometimes I just get so horny that I literally can't focus on anything else but sexual gratification. It gets to the point where being in public isn't really a good idea because you might end up doing something foolish, at least that's how intense it is for me. And it's a constant state of wetness for me. Not just horny, but ridiculously wet. And when I'm in that state, it seems as if no amount of orgasms will curb that desire...but of course it eventually abates. It just takes time...and a day off. So, I completely understand where your friend is coming from.

I have never been so insatiable that I took a day off work, but I have taken days off to spend the day in bed with a lover... I can't imagine not going to work because I had to masturbate... I do that most, mornings before work and if I am not satisfied I go through the day planning my release...

It's totally normal to be super horny during the days leading up to and including ovulation. It quite often makes me insatiable and I am allowed to, or instructed to orgasm more than usual during those days. I've never had to take a day off work because of it. My chair does get quite the wet spot on it though. - lee
