Dear Aunt Olivia,
When my wife and I have sex at a fast pace in the doggy style position, she says it hurts. And I have an average size penis. Why is she in pain? Thanks.

I think a doctor is a much better person to ask than Olivia. And yeah, just slow down. Sex is not a race.

You could be hitting against her cervix, especially in doggie style. You get deeper penetration in that position, and some women find it painful when the cervix is hit. Although, some love it as well. Best to ask a doctor though really to be certain.

I don't want to sound venal, but if her bladder or bowels are full, that could also cause her pain, especially with the depth of the doggy position...
Best if she gets it checked by her doc though x

Definitely ask a doctor... though I know of women friends who have a tilted cervix, or which made some sexual positions a bit painful.

Refrain from hog-tying her and remove the bit from her mouth. Allow her to do the pushing as well. Just smile and be thankful someone is farking you.

Change position or not go in too deep and see if that helps. And as stated above take her to the doctor. Teased and Tormented -My very first story and competition entry is now up!

I suppose there could also be a lubrication problem. A little extra lube never hurt anyone and take it slowly too, though, as others have said, the doctor may be able to shed more light on it.

How does it hurt? Is it a burning pain? A pinching pain? A growling pain? Does it hurt each time you hit the bottom or does it hurt throughout? Does she hurt afterwards too or just during? Where inside her vagina does it hurt? I think we have too little information to get to the bottom of the problem here. But well, if the two of you haven't managed to figure out what's causing the pain going to a doctor or starting to practise other positions or slowing down pace would be a good idea.

Agree with all the above. Lube could be an issue. If it happens only when she is getting close to her period, it could be because she is swelling somewhat and everything is more tender than normal. Whatever it may be, unless the two of you can narrow it down or resolve it on your own, you both need to see her gynecologist.
