Beastiality, paedophilia, incest...yuck ( I mean I love my family and my dog....but just not in that way) I am also averse to anything to do with excrement or urine. That's just poor personal hygiene as well as offensive to the eye and nose. No way.

Calling ladies derogitory names is taboo to me. I have a daughter, so Incest is unthinkable. Rape stories make me angry... I know women who have worked their way through rape, and it still haunts them.

Although a stern "aunt" or kissing "cousin" fantasy story is okay to me [because those terms are often rather generic, as opposed to a true relative], any real incest is deplorable. Other subjects that I would prefer didn't exist are rape [which includes anything against someones will], scat, pedophiles, beastiality and any form of genuine body or mind damaging sadism.

I think when the people here stated children as a taboo, they meant children having sex with adults. Not children having sex with each other. But regarding your question, I think it is true that kids today seem to be sexually active at a younger age then when I was a kid and I am not really sure if that is bad thing. The thing I think that is bad is that parents will not admit to themselves that their kids are sexually active and do not make sure their kids are properly educated regarding sex. In that case it is a bad thing. But if the kids are properly educated on birth control STI/STD and all the consequences and responsibilities of having sex then maybe it isnt a bad thing. Of course it depends on how young you mean, there is young and there is YOUNG!! Remember there was a time when girls getting married and having kids as teens was very normal.

Historically speaking, today's youth probably start having sex later than in centuries past. Women/girls especially. There's a reason that girls mature earlier than boys. My grandmother was married by 14 and pregnant by the age of 15. My grandfather was 17 when they got married. The bad thing is that several hundred years ago, girls were being married off to adult/middle aged men. The best response to this is to say that I consider myself sex positive. Basically, what happens between consenting human adults is okay as long as no one gets hurt.
On top of the restrictions implied above, I do not want to be involved with watersports. There are also situations that may not be arousing for me, but I wouldn't consider them necessarily taboo.

Not much to add. Like a lot of other, pedophilia, animals, rape are the big taboos. Personally, scat and watersports don't do anything for me nor does anything involving major pain (though I'm mellowing on S&M and have a spanking story mostly finished), but I can live with the fact that they exist and that some people get off on them, unlike the preceding three. I guess my "line in the sand" is consent. If it's consensual and with someone capable of legally giving consent, I can live with its existence.

I'm glad other people have posted because I would have interpreted the question to mean 'how do I define taboo?' Anyway, incest is beyond the pale for me. How someone can write or read about a girl and their father is just outside my comprehension. Same goes for Mother and son, though I can't relate to this in the same way obviously. Animals and children go without saying. I would say they're beyond taboo.
