Hi We have had a number of PM's captured by our system that are phishing for your passwords. Please do not enter your password into any other site other than www.lushstories.com Please check the domain in your browser address bar carefully, the page will look identical to a Lush page. Quote:Dear **********, Lush security team has noticed many successive unsuccessful login attempts on your lush account within last few hours. We have traced an ip address which was used for these login attempts and we have found that it doesn't belong to any domain. It seems like someone has tried to break your lush account security. We are not sure whether that suspicious person has gained your lush account access or not.So we strongly recommend to change your password as soon as possible. Follow this link http://www.lushstories.**********.com/change%20your%20password.html Regards, Lush Admin

"...successive unsuccessful..."? Awkward.
"login"? I'd much rather see, "Log-in" or "Log In", personally.
There should be a space after a full stop.
"ip" should be capitalised.
There should be a comma after the word, "So".
"...recommend to change..." ought to read, "...recommend that you change...".
And if you want me to follow a link, please add "please", you little shithead.
P.S. It also looks better to capitalise, "Security Team".

I have reported the domain to the host and it has been pulled down already. I have written to his ISP, however their home page doesnt even load for me so not holding out much hope there. I'm tempted to block the entire country from our firewall, not sure they will be missed.

Question? If someone tries to log into your account 8 or 9 times in a row will this also make it reset your password? I know on some sites if you try to log in so many times unsuccessfully it will lock your account, I was wondering if the same applies here on Lush.. Sometimes my Yahoo account password gets locked from Phishing..

It used to be after 5 attempts the account was locked and you had to talk to sys admin to get back in. That was never here. It rarely happened with my sites. With the number of members here it might be unwieldly. Blocking domains is the best defense. Using wireshark is a good tool for tracking things. I used to use it a lot when I troubleshot network issues. Stopped many a dod in my days. I would take the dos and send it all back to the originator. That would stop them.

Make sure your browser is up to date as well as flash, Adobe and Java.. there is a lot of malware out there trying to exploit un-patched applets.. And having a good AV helps to.
