Found a small, choice grade beef, rib roast at the butcher's today. Had him slice it nice and thin for me and I made an 'authentic' Philly Cheese-Steak sandwich for myself. Sad but true, I've been in FLA 20 years now and haven't found anyone who can make them or a decent Reuben any better than the ones I make myself!

French toast (made with french bread sliced thick) and topped with warmed raspberry compote and freshly whipped cream that I sprinkled with some nutmeg and a little kalhua! God, it was yummy! Drank Earl Grey with it. Ahhh ... Perfect for that blustery rainy night!

It's Mexican tonight - chicken enchiladas or tacos w/fixins homemade salsa, guacamole, sour cream, diced green onion etc. (everyone's choice), dirty rice, and Corona (well not for the kids). :)

Two big motherfuckoff gammon steaks with pineapple sauce and perhaps chips and a fried egg, too. Yes, I'm probably gonna get heartburn, but I don't care, it's worth it for a bit of indulgence.
