The best comments I receive are when women say reading the tale(s) made them wet. That's gratifying to an erotica writer.

This is one of the better ones
A very erotic story with great storyline and steaming hot sex scenes. I really enjoyed reading it, and thanks for sharing with us. Totally worth a 5.

And no mark of others,
No mark of living beings,
And no mark of a life.

I love it when they quote the story!

"My own breathing is just starting to slow down. "she groaned and gasped at each wave of fresh pleasure as it sought to bring feeling to her untouched sex" wondeful!"

I appericiate any comment left on my story good or bad, if someone has taken the time to read my story and then leave a comment it means a lot.

I couldnt decide between the two comment below;

"Along with part 1 I rate this as some of the finest writing Lush has to offer. It almost goes without saying that it's incredibly arousing, but I love the fact that there are also all kinds of interesting subtexts."

"The confliction of will and desire is so real, the sense of guilt prfound, yet the pull of her lust overwhelming. And the use of the dream was a nice stroke of creative writing. Very erotic and arousing. Great story. I look forward to the next installment with anticipation."

They really built my confidence and encouraged me to keep writing.

My two top favorite comments were from two of the judges in the soc.sexuality.spanking Short Story Contest: 2004. My entry that year was the newly written Missing Lynx, first story I ever posted anywhere. One of the judges was rather meh about the story (no biggie; can't please everyone). The other two judges' comments were what really inspired me to write more...

Quote:
If Rudyard Kipling had ventured into writing spanking erotica he may have written something like this story. Frelic could have been the boy Mowgli, who was raised by wolves in Kipling's 'Jungle Book'. We are fascinated by the barrier between humans and non-humans, and 'The Missing Lynx' reinforces our desire that this century will see the invention of a device which will enable humans to 'talk to the animals'.

Quote:
There's a great deal to enjoy here: the scene-setting is vivid; the glimpse of a much larger and more complex world is very seductive. I especially like that the story's gentle final twist is hinted at but not spelled out - much more satisfying that way. I miss a slightly more complete picture of the story-world, which is both a strength and a weakness of this piece: it means it doesn't quite stand on its own, but it also leaves me intrigued and wanting to find out more.

In fact, I am sorely tempted to email the jduge that gave that last comment and let him know that there is more in the works in that world; as I am planning on doing a compilation of short stories entitled "Tales from the Beastlands", which take place in that same immortal land, and focus on Lynx embarking on a series of awakening escapades as she learns and experiments with a wide array of naughty pleasures with the other denizens of the Beastlands.

The best comment I received was awhile back I made a compliment to a story that was written by a writer who nearly threatened to quit so naturally I gave my all to motivate her to keep going and not long after I wrote my story he/she commented on my story saying: Nice and sweet. Thanks for the review of my story btw. I think I have the guts to do another one! Another song-fic I mind you. It's were all the inspiration comes from...I'll try and post it ASAP lol

That to me was very humbling on all levels and I'm happy to have gotten a pleasant compliment

What's the best comment I've received on a story? Well, I have two;

1) Comment from PersonalAssistant on my poem; My Wants: "This is so erotic, so sensual, so sexy!! wow .... going into my favourites, sir! thank you!"

2) All the comment on my newest story; Into the Prince's Bedchamber: They all said the tale was good and the sex was great, but they loved the historical setting and imagery most.

Best comment for me was on MMMMF,

"I'm away for five minutes and this is what you get up to

Filthy minx"

No one else would see why, but I know why it's the best.

My favorite was from a friend who, sadly, closed his account. After he read the survivor he wrote:
"I burned my bloody dinner Milik! I couldn't put this story down!"

"I'd pay to read this. It's a shame that you are giving it away for free."

That comment gave me hope.

This comment, about an earlier version of, 'Of War and Peace, and Mary Beth' which is now posted over on the Story Space site, came from a writer and person I respected and cared for. Her pen name was, Coleen Thomas. Everyone called her, Colly. (note the tense)

"There are times when the words won't flow for me, that story moves me and it really helps me remember how the words can do the job if you let them."

A guy left a couple nice things to say on my first couple stories. They are all a series...I should label them better or something. But, I could always use more comments. Hey, you, reading this...Yeah, you should go read my stories. Thanks.

I'd have to say a comment on 'My Neighbor's Teenage Daughter' (part one) from Milik_The_Red

"This is one of those rare stories that I wish was longer. Part 2 should be a really hot read. Dont make us wait long!"

He happened to be the moderator that approved my story and left this as the very first comment. Thanks again, Milik!

Without question (and it is easy as I've only publicly posted one story) my favorite comment on Lush came from a woman who I believe to be the best author of erotic literature, Susan England.

"... your words titillate the senses and do not bludgeon your reader into sexual submission. I think you are at heart, a storyteller ..."

Like others have stated, I feel that every comment is as valuable and as appreciated as the next. I picked out a few from my stories and attempted to narrow them down and couldn't really choose from these two:

1.“This is a superior piece of fuck-filth-committed from the off to detailing an intense dirty fantasy and delivering a hot reading experience. So different in tone from your first piece, yet just as tightly written and even more fucking horny.” - A story to remember

2. “Excellent story, very provocative and sensual with wonderfully detailed eroticism, really allows you to close your eyes and imagine this story unfold, and be there in the moment. SALACIOUS...” A field of desire

Thanks to all of those who have read my stories! Big Hugs

The comment I received about a story concerning online sex. They were good enough to say it was the best representation of such relationships they had ever read.

I've read her work on Literotica......she was very good.

The best one so far for me happened today:

"It was excellent considering you are a male. I am sure I wouldn't be able to write a story about 2 women making love and make it as interesting as you did!"

'Absolutely delicious story. You have a wonderful writing style that despite its brevity, it shares an immense amount of information - feelings, thoughts, history, desires, pictures, and emotion. Than you so much for sharing.' : )

Thanks to all of you who contribute input. : )

I value every comment truthfully, but the most humbling one was from the fabulous "Swollen" when she left this comment on my poem "You"

"Alpha, this is without doubt the best poem I've read on Lush. To capture such emotion in rhyming verse requires the ability to knit words with imagination and skill - you've done just that. Beautiful and heartfelt x"

This one left by Cumgirl on Unreserved Seating...

Quote:
Line 4 "they'd" ... surely you mean "there would" because "they'd" makes absolutely no sense in this context. Not the perfection of word usage I would have expected and I really do think you should have been able to get the opening paragraph right.

Interestingly enough, both of my favorite comments came from Scooter.

Scooter wrote:
I agree; great dialogue Curly.

You found many clever words I have not seen in a while, along with some sexy cuss words too! (:

Maybe it's because I read so much, but I LOVE words. Not that you need a dictionary and/or thesaurus to understand what I'm saying, but I enjoy a bit more than He said/She said.

He called me a "trashy woman" with his last story comment, which made me laugh and I took as a huge compliment. evil4

I'm not sure I can pick just one comment but...

Shylass on Hurt Words

"Ok, I'm still woozy but i'm commenting anyway. There is beauty and depth of both anguish and growth in this.piece and you should be proud of it.
By the way, only the elite get scored a One Bomb, and that's how you know you Made it as Lush writer. There are a few who are so cool the incompetants who need to make themselves feel better bizarrely overlook them, but generally, if you get a One Bomb, you know you have a talent"

If for nothing more than making me laugh insanely when I was thinking of stopping writing.

And midnightraider61 on Screams of Joy

"This is a great story, the only reason I hadn't posted on it before was I hadn't read it through and your stories demand careful reading. You use the most delightful imagery and buildup, and turn what could be a simple sex scene into a full-fledged character study. I want to bring myself off and yet I want to see what happens to these characters because they are great thinkers and have real emotions. I don't want to disrespect them by spilling my seed until I can thank them and the woman who gave them life."

Especially as it was my first not based on a real life experience piece and I was seriously nervous.

But I have to say there are a lot of comments that came to mind and keep me writing :)

I have three favorite comments...2 of them were from couples that had read my story and it got them both hot enough that they told me they had to relieve each other and the third was from a guest that when he read one of my stories it motivated him to join the site....all three were huge compliments to me.

I have so many, for so many different reasons, that I shall never be able to pick just one.

However, this is my current favourite, because I find laughter one of the sexiest things ever, and to know I made somebody else laugh is a great thing for me:

"I laughed so hard my butt plug fell out."
