What are your thoughts on the Washington State and Colorado law that passed on Pot?

Good idea. Good taxes and revenue to follow.

I think it's a move in the right direction, but my opinion may be bias. I do believe that others will eventually follow.

History shows that 'prohibition' doesn't work - if people want something badly enough, they'll get it (Didn't 1920 to 1933 in the U.S. teach us anything?) Tax revenue from legalization and not dumping Billions and Billions of dollars into an ever failing 'war on drugs' would provide a major boost to our economy at a much needed time and most likely would have a major impact on reducing violence in the U.S. as well.

It's also been proven over and over again that alcohol abuse causes more illness, injury and death than pot ever did. So I say 'Bravo Washington and Colorado! Two states where common sense overcame fear mongering and ignorance of a subject.

Now on to marriage equality and womens reproductive rights...
