If you was with another person - without physical contact, Just sexual release no emotion? Would that be cheating, interested in peoples views and thoughts as to where the boundaries sometimes lay. Would an emotional kiss be worse?

I have to say that yes, I do think it's cheating. While you aren't physically with the person, mentally and emotionally you are, at least to some degree.
In this virtual world, we can become very closely attached to and intimate with relative strangers. The mutual masturbation thing, well, one is imagining actually being with them, they are imagining being with you. It's intimate, emotional. Mentally, you are with that person, if just for a short while.
I don't think I'd be too pleased if I found my partner typing out his deepest darkest fantasies to a stranger while rubbing one out. Well, I would be surprised to say the least.
I do think that there are degrees of it though - a random online hook-up, a one off, doesn't have the same gravity as a regular one, where the two really do get to know each other very well. In my opinion, that's when emotions can become involved and that's when, IMHO it becomes more like cheating...

I'm with Mazza, when it becomes something that you do regularly with the same person, then you've formed a relationship, regardless of it being online. And the definition of cheating is really something that you need to work out with your partner as no one on here is going to be able to tell you what your partner can.
Really, sex and laughter do go very well together, and I wondered - and I still do - which is more important.

It depends on the situation. We play with others from time to time but, we always play together, if it was during one of our play sessions that is fine. If I found out he did behind my back then it is cheating and he is gone.

Doesn't matter what I think, you think, or anyone else here thinks. The person you are worried about cheating on, do they consider it cheating? That's the only person that matters. If they think it's cheating, then it's cheating.
