A lot of what I would suggest depends very much on the person I would be making the recommendation to.
However, since I don't know, I would have to recommend Vanilla Spice. It was my first real attempt at trying to write something for readers here, as opposed to direct memory, or a slightly more poetical exploration of what I might feel more comfortable writing about.
After I had posted the story and read it back to myself, I realised that my entire emotional process during writing formed the responses of the male character.
It was also a pivotal moment for me in that people actually asked for more, and it gave me hope that I may have a small something to offer Lush from my little corner where I observe the goings-on. I did write a sequel, which also seemed to be enjoyed. I also began to discover that writing with a bit of humour is natural for me, try as I might to avoid it.

My 'Slave Princess' series contains some of my best writing and if I had to choose one story from it, it would have to be Chapter 2.

My favorite is "My Husband's Birthday Requests" but I get a lot of good feedback on "The Cruise" as well. I have more stories running around in my head but don't have enough time to get them all down. But eventually I will.

My personal favorite is Now I Own You, but it is very BDSM which is not for everyone. The Story I Never Wrote is better for all crowds.

Like others on this thread, I am hard-pressed to select a "best" work, partly because when I re-read them, all I see are flaws; and also because some stories appeal more to one mindset than others. But for overall plot, humor, snappy dialogue and succinct descriptive writing, I believe my best ones are the Charlie-Charlene and Minuet In G novellas.

I think of all the stuff I've written, my favourite is probably this one: Lazy Sunday AfternoonIt's the first time I tried writing from a male perspective and I just thought it was a nice wee snapshot of a couple who've been together for a long time and yet are still obviously very much in love. I tried to make it romantic and amusing and I really like reading it even now. I'd love to get a good audio version of it, but I can't do it myself, being the wrong gender. I've had it read to me and it was gorgeous to listen to...

Despite the fact that The Cabo Connection continues to be my most popular story by far, I would probably recommend: Fade to BlackIt's a male reluctance story with some light femdom so it's not to everyone's sexual tastes, but I really enjoyed writing it and I think it has some unique characters and plot twists. The sexual subject matter is not what I typically write so it was fun to indulge some dominant female energy with this one. This story is also a little unique in that I have received soooo many PMs from a variety of people asking if the characters were based on them or telling me they could see aspects of themselves in the story. It's been quite hilarious. I had no idea it would hit such a personal nerve with so many. I even had one girl actually join Lush solely to PM-ask me whether I knew her boyfriend and whether this story was about him since his name is Aidan Black (just like my character) and because it sounded like him. lol

Although Senior Week - part 2 is my highest rated, The Poker Game was very enjoyable to write. I especially enjoy the humor and sassiness. My personal favorite would be my lowest rated story Charlene. Of course, that is mainly due to the topic and not the writing. So to recommend one, I'd have to go with The Poker Game since Senior Week series has more than 1 part.

Well my favorite story to write was "The Botanical Beauty", but it did not do well with Lushee readers? Go figure? A writer is NOT his own best critic. My most popular series was "His Best Friend's Daughter" which did very well for a quite a while and I'm proud of the response it got. My early stories like "The Wife Next Door" and "The Professor's Daughter" I think I could re-write now and do a better job even though they did well with readers. I think my writing has progressed from being on Lush and getting feedback from my readers (good and bad).

I usually read my stories back and think 'OMG, did I really have the nerve to write that?!' but with Harder, Faster, Stronger it's the one story that I am pretty proud of. It was actually written in a rush... just one rainy morning at work and yet it's one of my most popular. I think i'm gonna go read it again!

If you want a staright forward hot story, I would say try my "coach scores more than a victory".
However, if you're looking for something a little kinky, but with plot, try Bare music part 1 (and 2).

Of all the ones I've written, the one I would probably recommend would be "Extremely loud and incredibly horny." But that one isn't my favorite. My favorite is probably either The Machine or The Demerit System.

I would always recommend you read the story I'm going to publish next. By the time I finish a story and put it onto Lush I'm pretty convinced it's useless and I should delete it. The ones I'm working on now however, are brilliant, or at least they are until I get them in a fit state to publish. Thank you for the excellent reading list though.

I used to think that most of my work is simply average, but I'm making strides so here goes: As a bad ass naughty girl, I love Breaking the Code. It rocks! And from a strictly creative perspective, I really liked that I stretched myself and wrote something out of the norm for me which turned out to be An Unexpected Desire. I challenged myself and it turned out to be so rewarding for me as an amateur author. Please check either of them out and tell me what you think.

Man, that is torture to have to choose just one. So then, since Rescued? is going to be overhauled a bit in the near future, and The Missing Lynx and The Misbehaving Lynx are going to be rolled into a single volume production of short stories that I will be calling Tales from the Beastlands, those will not be "officially" recommended here.
That said, even though they are nowhere near finished, my recommendation is for The Paddled Princess (a fun and naughty little teasing romp about a young princess in a high tech magical world and her two paddle girls, one of which is actually a boy, and the trouble she gets into at their willing expense.) Alongside that is Tiger Tiger Burning Bright, which carries some of the Paddled Princess's story, but doesn't quite fit into the main story's flow, and is being done as a spinoff. Together, the two tales will feature material for a wide variety of tastes, I think. Now to go fix Tiger Tiger so it can be viewed here again. Turns out the first chapter was too long and needs split into 2 parts.

I think my best story is The Olympic (fun and) Games. It was rated highly but slipped off the Lush home page so quickly not many read it, which was disappointing considering the work that went into it and the feedback received. But I also have a big soft spot for The House of Lush.

I've posted four stories at this point. All of which are separate parts of the same series. If I had to pick one, it would be Into the Woods, part four. Though do to a bit of the subject matter, it was posted to the taboo section. This was the first of the four in which that occured.
