I think 'degrading' is a very subjective word. In some cultures giving a guy a blow-job is considered too degrading and a sex act that's reserved strictly for prostitutes.

There's also a HUGE difference between enjoying some dominant, rough or so-called degrading sex practices and the way you expect to be treated in life.

A lot of people in power-positions (politicians, lawyers etc) end up going to dominatrixes or enjoying being on the sub end of various fetishes (face-sitting, being pissed on etc) because they like experiencing the loss of control that is so different to the way they're always expected to behave in regular life. I went to a fetish party once and watched people changing behind curtains from their street clothes.
