Have you ever read this book? If so did you enjoy the book? If you didn't can you say why not.

It was required reading in prep school. Although not my favorite, I enjoyed it. Some of this period's work tends to be plodding, but it is a classic, so I'd recommend giving it a read.

the series in the UK was with Gemma Arterton, who went to RADA with a friend of mine. So though I have not read it, I thought I had something interesting to post about it :)

I love this book. It is definitely Hardys greatest. But then I am a wessex man and as it is set here, it has more appeal.

I thoroughly enjoyed Tess. It's thought-provoking, even over a century later.

One of my very favorite books! My copy of it is worn out because I've read it so many times! :)
