This may seem a bit silly and superficial, but I'd like to change the background color of the bio, comment, story, playlist, photo gallery, etc. boxes. I know we can make our background a solid color. But the more comments we get and the more stories we publish, and the more information we add to our profiles, the more it just looks like a big white blur. The background gets overshadowed. So at the very least, I'd like to be able to change the color to something besides white. Just to make it more fun and easier on the eyes. And for those of us who use images as opposed to plain colors for backgrounds, it would make those stand out just a bit more.

One way of doing this would be to have a set number of colour pallets that a user could choose from. Then the person would get to see it all over the site.
Your profile wouldn't show up like that to your friends, but to you and your friends would get the original set up.

I'd not like going to another persons profile and look at a horrible pink background with yellowish text.
Horrible.
Horrible.
Horrible.

In addition I wouldn't mind an option to wipe all custom background settings. "Show original Lush all over."

It would be really great if you could see a preview of your forum signature when you are editing it...

I always end up having to refresh and check it in a forum, so I can see how it looks...

Probably takes me about ten goes before I get it the way I want it - a preview would save loads of time!!

Now that we have the ability to sort messages into folders, it would be helpful to do so several at once as with deletions rather than having to do them one by one. I am certain that we all have a lot of them to file.

I was thinking that as well.

Also I would love to able to attach music that play's over the background of my story, as I write to music, and feel it would really add the feeling I want to the story.

I don't know if this has been said before (actually I'm sure it has) but it would be nice to have a way to preview our profiles when we're editing them, so we can see how well (or craply) they turn out. Also being able to view profiles as guests or friends would be nice, it might give people peace of mind that their profile is being viewed by whomever they want in the manner they want.

You know...there's a way to do that, and I just checked to confirm it works...

Go to any forum thread, and hit "Post reply"...put in your forum sig stuff and hit "preview"...once you get it worked out in a forum thread, and it looks right, just past the mess into the "forum signature" box thingy...

Try it...it works...

Some new emoticons in the chat rooms would be good even if they are some of those available in the forum posts. Lots of people are using their own now.

I really don't know if something like this has been suggested, but I would really love a "To Read List" It would really a to do list, but I often forget to go back and read stories that I truly wanted to read but ran out of time or something distracted me. A list to place the authors name & link to their story would be so great!

Perhaps you could add the links to the notepad facility on your profile? I've never used the notepad myself but I've heard it can be a useful wee thingy.

How about an option to sign is as invisible? Being bombarded by pokes, chat requests, and online messages can be a bit overwhelming, especially if aren't feeling all that social at the moment but don't wanna be rude.

there is also an option to sign in invisibly on the homepage, the little blue question mark in the corner of the log in box allows you to sign in invisibly for that session.

Whoops! Sorry for the lack of forethought on my part. I guess I'm not as Lush savvy as I thought. Should have played around with it more. Sorry...and thanks! Embarassed

I mentioned somewhere along the line that I thought it would be cool to have a badge or ribbon for stores included in a lush e book. I feel this would serve three purposes. First, it would help puplicize the ebooks. Secondly, it would encourage more writers to become involved, and lastly it would satisfy my badge-whore urges!

This may have been suggested before but there are so many pages to sift through. But I would like a way to keep track of the compittion stories I have read. That way when I log back in I can get to reading the ones I haven't had the chance to finish. Maybe they can be different color or a check mark added when finished. Thanks

I think there should have a personal add section or dating... So many people find it offensive to read or write erotica, it would be fun to be with someone that knows and understand the kinky side of you and not judge you for it, but accept that side and maybe even help.

I think there should be a badge for folk who have audio stories. Perhaps the badge could be called "Sexy Narrator" or "the author hath spake" (I'm kidding with that one btw, y'all know how I like my archaisms lol) or something of that ilk. It'd just be nice to have some sort of acknowledgment for it, I mean it's a big step for some.

What about the people who don't have sexy voices? Embarassed Can't it be something like, "Waffle Meister"? Not Blue Waffle, that's gross. I'd like "Waffle Meister", please. It sounds nommy. 675-lick
