I've never done this and I really have no plans to. But for those of you who are into it.. why are you into it? I'd like to think I'm pretty open minded, and will try most things. I just don't see the interest. Just curious.

I'll admit I'm a bit naive, so I had to look up "golden showers" on the internet... I even found a picture...  Personally, I think if you're going to do the shower fixtures in gold, you should do the sink and faucet as well so that everything matches... Just my opinion on the subject...

Dont forget the shower doors. Get gold trim there too. That chrome trim will clash and it's easy to overlook when you purchase it.

I don't think golden showers are my thing, but I have participated in a few, and kind of got off on them. It's because it's humiliating and degrading. It's something I would consider participating in again, if my partner was really into it. It's not something I would request to do.
