I handle it differently myself...when someone spams me with a message asking me to ask them a question, I just send them a question liked they asked...

Usually it's something like "Are you a fucktard?" or alternately, "What type of sheep-shagging fucktard are you?"

That usually stops the messages...

I had one this morning, that person has now been removed from my friend list (not such a big deal!).

It would be ok if it was a site personality doing it ONCE, but after the first time, there have been half a dozen messages more or less the same.

Creativity is encouraged, copycat spamming isn't.

They got this idea off of facebook. People use to send those like months ago. It was sent a little different, but same concept.
Super Annoying. I had 27 all together, and just deleted them.

I am officially in double digits with receiving this inane and uber-annoying spam-note. This is like the Lush version of a chain-letter that ominously warns you that you need to forward this to your entire friend-list within the next 10 minutes or your brain will explode.

Stop the madness people! Nobody cares! And if they did, they would have asked you a question already without the prompter.

I deleted another from my friend's list today, I do find it annoying.

I know it's trivial and meant in fun, but when everyone jumps on the bandwagon, it does get old quick.

apparently a few members are now unable to send any emails because their quota has been reached in their inbox, and they are unable to delete their emails - rendering the inbox/outbox uselss.

I've gotten a few as well. I ignore them, but I think I'll start deleting from my friends list if it becomes a constant. It is very annoying to say the least.

There are no restrictions on inbox size.

I have just deleted 5 pages of messages from my inbox.

Once 20 messages are sent, members are prevented from sending any more. This is to prevent spammers flooding our messaging system.

I suspect the last point is what is being reported, not the first 2.

If that's not the case, what might be a clever thing to do, is report the issue using the Help >> Contact Us >> Problem with the website, rather than mentioning vague possible issues with the site, in the middle of a totally unrelated thread.

I just ignore all of them, random chat requests as well... Maybe I shouldn't add people so easily to my friend list, as I am doing now, but to me it was easiest choice at the time, but all of this is making me think to rearrange it, and to become a bit more picky

I have yet to receive any of this horsecrap. Perhaps I'm simply too antisocial or, maybe those on my Lushie buddy list are actually civilized, intelligent, mature and thoughtful people who own a defined sense of netiquette?

Is this phenomenon originating from the same tards who tweet while operating a motor vehicle? The same ones who post constantly on Facebook, all the minutiae they perform by the hour, every day and night of their lives? I used to label them as attention whores, but I think it goes just a slight bit deeper than that.
