A lot of people take vitamins, minerals and other supplements to improve or maintain health. But if they aren't taken correctly, they could be rendered ineffective. For example, someone who takes both calcium and iron supplements — a common recommendation for women of childbearing age — needs to be sure not to take them at the same time, since calcium dramatically decreases the absorption of iron.

This site has extensive information on dietary supplements, how to take them, and known interactions with medications and other supplements: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/herb_All.html.

Calcium Supplements – Side Effects of the Most Destructive Supplement on the Planet

Calcium supplements side effects from these types of products are notoriously dangerous, so, whatever you do, make sure that they aren't a part of your dietary regimen. All of them cause several calcification-related conditions such as:

Macular degeneration
Brain cancer
Heart valve calcification
Atherosclerosis
Osteoarthritis
Bone cancer
Wrinkles
Stroke
And other disorders

The best form of calcium that you can feed your body for stronger, denser bones are those found naturally in green, leafy vegetables. Your body metabolizes the calcium in these vegetables in such a way that the calcium is truly used to benefit your skeletal structure. These are the calcium supplements side effects you want, so try to get them naturally, rather than relying on supplements.

If ya can't beat 'em... pay someone to do it for you.
