I am a real bad speller. Spell check keeps me from looking like I'm from the movie Deliverance.

I don't think the odd one does, but when there are dozens in the first paragraph or so, I just don't bother reading any more of the story. We've paid for a spell check software plugin for the story submissions, so there aren't really too many excuses for people.

Exactly. Rampant spelling errors make my eyes hurt. I'm so passionate about words, I can't even use text speak on my mobile phone. I think I might have a problem.

It's a royal pain trying to text someone with a cell phone. I only text Tech with it, and even then I refuse to short words, a la "luv" instead of "love", "u" instead of "you", etc.
