Her voice...especially when she giggles or tells me how much she loves me. Rain on a tin roof...or on a still, calm lake Waves rolling into shore or crashing onto the rocks or lapping against the dock or boat Water rushing in a river or creek...Waterfalls...Thunderstorms Music that matches my mood on any given day The eerie quiet when you're in the middle of nowhere...in the mountains or deep in the forest The wind gently blowing through tall grass...rustling leaves

distant rumble of a freight train at certain time in the night - as it takes me ages to go sleep, I find I'm fast asleep after hearing that crunching of gravel walkway from foot or car rain on a cool crisp night silence waves crashing against the shore at night rustling of quilts/blankets on your bed when you're adjusting them dull, distant rumblings of the washing machine, lawn mower, drilling

him humming in my ear as he holds me... it does not have to be good humming... just the vibration and the closeness....

I love the sound of rain. Love the sound of a train in the distance. Also like the the sounds of the waves of the ocean coming up on shore. The sound of a lovers heart beat when your head is resting on his chest.

Street noise...I can't sleep without it since I've moved to this little city when I was 18. Oh, and the rain...absolutely LOVE the sound of the rain hitting my window.

Leaves rustling from a breeze, rain splattering against a roof window, someone carving wood by hand, the kettle boiling, my nan humming at the cooker, the hum from an aquarium tank, the sound of skin brushing skin, a paintbrush being dragged across a sheet...

Pencil across paper, the ocean waves crashing on the beach, violin music, Andrew's whimpers and snores, a baby's snores, the sound of a tender kiss, the sound you hear when someone's stroking your hair, the sound of the wind when it whistles, heavy rain on the roof...

A boat drifting in the middle of the ocean. A small creek. Gusty wind blowing the trees. A good classical concert. A guitar is always comforting.
