Yep, works like a charm. I haven't had sex with a single woman in over 20 years. They have all been married.

Not to pour cold water all over this discussion, but I have to ask: Have you ever really done this? Have you had sex with a married person, knowing that the other spouse didn't know, and that therefore you both were making a fool of them? Have you ever had that spouse find out, and give you the look that says about a hundred different things, but chief among of them being "why would you do this? why would you willingly take a sledgehammer to my family?".

Maybe you have, maybe you haven't. But I have. I've fooled myself into experiencing the rush with none of the guilt. I've also had that spouse stare daggers through me; that was not a good feeling.

So maybe I need my own thread, but at the risk of shining an unwelcome flashlight in a few eyes, I'm curious: How does it make you feel? Do you just put the other spouse out of your mind? Do you feel superior by taking something from them on the sly? Do you ever have crushing guilt after the fact? I've felt all of these things, I wonder who among you all have as well.

**

EDIT: Though worded pointedly, this was not intended as a judgement on those who do this, after all, I've been there myself. I just wonder what your motivations/levels of guilt/highs and lows are based on your experiences.

I agree with LadyX. I dont know why anyone would want to risk destroying anyones marriage and subsequently their family just to get their rocks off

It's not necerssarily just about "getting their rocks off". It takes two to tango. The cheating spouse is also part of the issue. Just like most escorts will say, it's rarely about the sex. For a spouse that isn't getting affection or respect at home, it's the closeness that he/she craves. The sex is a means to and end.

As far as sleeping with married women. If a man truly wants meaningless sex, it's the way to go. Another man's wife is a safe bet. She would have too much to lose by getting caught or getting too involved. A married man who wants to cheat would be well advised to choose a married woman. It's just the way it is.

First let me say I do not believe in cheating in any form (sex with married people when the other is OK with it is not cheating to me).

But I can see LM's point. If you are in a sexless/loveless marriage and divorce is not an option for whatever reason, then maybe I can see why you would want to cheat. We all need to feel loved and wanted. But to be a single man or woman, and to knowingly have sex with married person and not care that you may be destroying a family just for a qick thrill, well that just doesnt sit right with me.

But like X, I am not judging anyone who does. Everyone has their reasons and they do not need to explain them to anyone

It just way the OP worded it about 'seducing' a married woman. I know it takes 2 to tango but the way it sounded was like he was purposefully trying to lead to her astray and turn her into a cheat.

I know that alot of married people will cheat though due to a loveless/sexless marriage, im not that naive!

I have. It wasn't because we got any kind of illicit thrill out of it, nor did we desire to make a fool out of him, or anything like that. It wasn't any kind of power trip at all. I was in my early twenties, and so was she. She was married to a guy that would rather get hammered on beer and pass out on the couch than make love to his slim, athletically attractive wife.

It started out innocently enough. She and I were friends, we talked. We both had a lot in common. We were all part of a group of friends that hung out together - I worked nights and she worked a split shift. Occasionally, some of us would go to the beach as a group, or to breakfast as a group - it was nothing for the two of us to get together once in a while. Breakfasts led to hanging out at her place. Skinny-dipping in her pool during the hot Florida summers. She had unfulfilled needs, as did I. We used each other as a means to an end. Our affair lasted a few months, then eased to a close as gradually as it began.

I have no regrets about that period in my life. We were both adults, we were friends, and we both knew that our sexual relationship would in no way endanger her marriage (unless he found out, which we took great pains to avoid). After me, I'm sure there were others. Thinking about it, there were probably others before me as well. She was there for me, and I was there for her, when we each needed someone. If that's not true friendship, I don't know what is.

If I were married, to the man who makes my heart flip .......... I would never look at another man, let alone get involved.

Some married women are NOT that easy - depends on if the woman is really "in love" with her husband.

What the fuck ever.

You cannot seduce an unwilling person. Married, widowed, single or otherwise.

I've been with married, single, divorced, gay and widowed women... Seduction is not as easy as you seem to state it is. If she's not willing then what you're doing should land your ass in jail.

End Of Story, Mr. Mystic.

You might think you are the king of seduction, but unless 'she' is even 'there & willing' you're not hitting the home run. You're picking up a desperate girl and what you're doing should be frowned upon & despised.

It takes 2 to Tango. Always. And that is the one constant in this whacky sexual attraction thing we humans know.

I laugh in your face, Mysticlover....and I laugh my ass off at your screen name.

If ya can't beat 'em... pay someone to do it for you.

It very much depends on the woman and her situation. I live in a community where there are plenty of women in sexless, affectionless marriages. There are also plenty of sexually fulfilled women with loving caring husbands. I know of a few of the women in the former category who have cheated on their husbands. Some have gotten caught, some haven't. There are also women in that category that would never cheat regardless of the situation. Lafayette and WMM are both correct. Mystic, you are dead wrong. There are certainly women in situations that Nudie Pants described, but stating that "any" married woman can be seduced is ridiculous.

Food for thought.

A lot of people get shot or stabbed over this. Is it worth a bullet to head or having your guts hanging out all over the place?

I have written a new poem. It is called 'Long Twisty Woman.'

Also, if you wish, check out my co-authored a story with the wonderful DanielleX. It is called 'Focus on Sex.'

There is a very definite and unappealing line between confident and cocky. Yuck! angry7 It's the internet, you can pretend to be whatever you want, but that doesn't mean we're buying it.

Horney and Desperate are two different things in people! Married or not!
Women and men are both suseptible to this if they don't have good communications and true love in their relationships!

Kisses!

first off... let's try that whole proper grammar thing again, shall we..?..

"HAS anyone tried..?.."

"does anyone TRY seducing..?.."

not really sure what tense and sorta question you were going for there buddy. i think MMonroe pointed out something valid: it's the fact that you ask if we've ever seduced a married woman as if it was a specific goal.

i'm somewhat ashamed to answer YES. somewhat ashamed, because i wholeheartedly agree with lafayettemister and his whole "two to tango" argument. also somewhat, because i do believe that karma is a bitch, and that i will somehow reap what i've sown later on in a fashion i'm sure to not appreciate.

thing is, and i'm NOT skirting any responsibility, the one time i had success in actually seducing a married woman - she was most certainly available for the seduction. i really just made myself available, open, and non judging of her.

...and the one time followed on the heels of the several times "otherwise occupied" women had approached and been more than forward with me. doesn't justify it at all what-so-ever, but it was an odd frame of mind i found myself in with the rapid infidelity i was surrounded by at the time.

Because he's from India, we can probably assume that he's ESL and not get overly offended by his grammar. Although I do find the intent/goal of his question a bit offensive. angry7

First, let me say. Some of these posts are rather shallow, especially if you specifically prey on married people just for a cheap thrill. I've been there. I've been the other woman. I've slept with plenty of other married men. It's never anything I've ever done intentionally, but it just happened that way, I guess. I'm not justifying it. All I'm saying is, I've never slept with an unwilling man. He knew the risks. What he was willing to give up, blah, blah, blah. I've always been the type that if I saw a man I wanted to fuck, I made it happen. His availability meant very little to me.

To answer your question, LadyX, to me it feels like fucking any other guy, single or not. I just put the other spouse out of my mind. I don't want to steal any married man away from his wife. It was always about the sex for me. I'm rather apathetic in nature when it comes to certain things, and have a bleak way of putting things sometimes. There are times that I wanted to feel guilty just to feel human, I guess. But so far it hasn't happened. As far as getting caught, ironically enough the only time I ever got caught was with a man who I didn't even know was married. He hid it quite well. He completely duped me. His spouse confronted us both at his vacation home. I was mortified. Not because she caught us, but because I had been completely duped. Again, I felt no guilt. Especially since I didn't know he was married.

And a couple of months ago, I decided never to sleep with a married man ever again. Because he got emotionally attached, which has always been a deal-breaker for me. But it turned even uglier because he was willing to leave his wife for me after several decades of marriage. No guy has ever offered to leave his wife for me, and it's something I'd never ask for. And it had gone way too far. So I guess I've learned my lesson.
