The beautiful, soft voice of Etta has moved many people, myself included. There is a special place in my heart for the song, and a little sadness for her passing.

Many have tried to sing her song. A lot of tone deaf American Idol wannabes have butchered it. But even the ones that sing it well, can't compare to Etta. Some songs can and never should be duplicated.
When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser. Socrates I agree with that. Ever hear one on the radio that's been redone or "updated" from the original? I almost always say ewww.
Great song and a lady with a very sensual voice
I agree that no one sings it better or with more soul than Etta James. A true original artist that will be missed.
