I do but I have friends who also have tongue piercings who don't. SO I guess the answer is both Yes and No.

It Absolutely Does!!

When you go to get your tongue pierced you first have to prove that you can deep throat before they will do it. If you cant take it all the way down your throat without gagging, they will not perce your tongue. I am pretty sure it is a law in at least 27 states.
