I have used the html link codes (a href code which I have used many times on web pages) but when I click on the banner, it goes to the banner website, not the story page. ?????

I make banners from scratch in photoshop. I really really , really wanna offer some pointers here, but don't wanna sound as OCD as I actually am. These banner sites are ok, and I understand the normal lushie does not use the programs I do. But I have some tips, SERIOUSLY have some tips . Just to help in the execution of these "banners". Respond if you want them, tell me to Eff off otherwise :) 
Now with audio!!!!
