I don't do photography myself, but I have a lot of photographers for friends, all from university. This one photograph got me the most, though all of them are beautifully composed and captured, I couldn't figure out what the white substance is--snow, salt, foam? Do tell, it'll nag me for ages. And I could've definitely gone without seeing the bug.. even close up and detailed they give me the creeps!

Its snow...and I knew the bug would cause a few queezey stomachs...

Just a couple of winter shots from last year...
I used a Nikon F80 and Kodak Royal Gold 200 film.
I process my own personal photos.

I'm currently borrowing Canon's 60D along with a few lenses.... I'm too skint to be splashing out on lenses so don't get to attempt the likes of insects with my own camera. This is by no means a great picture, but as one of my first attempts here we go:

Edit: Ick, having to upload a low quality image to get it to be able to post has totally taken out the details.

Thank you. I'm just learning really. I like to potter about with my editing, although I usually keep it simple. I like the contrasts of stuff, and I like to play with a bit of colour in it, too. This one got me a little prize in a newspaper:

This one was taken after a service for the life of my friends' baby who died at just a few weeks old:

I did flowers for a wedding, and got to crash with my camera:

Oregon coast

I took this photo with a olympus p&s. Nothing fancy, but it holds up to my travels & tolerates getting wet!

Who would have guessed that my little tale, the very First one I ever submitted to Lush would be read by so many?
It shocks me a little to realize that it has now served over 20,000!
