Homosexuality is a sexual preference, a state of mind so to speak. If you are a male and sexually aroused by the thought of other men, then you certainly at least have bisexual tendencies. If you are a male and are not sexually aroused by women then you are homosexual. If you are not aroused by the thought of other men but sexually open minded and another man is giving you oral or and you enjoy it, it's just sex: no matter if you got hard right away or it took a while. IMHO

In my opinion, you can only be classified as gay if you're physically and/or emotionally attached to the same sex. Meaning, if your friend woke up getting head from a dude, it doesn't make him gay. It just means he likes getting his dick sucked. If he only gets aroused by men, then yes, he's gay. But a guy's dick doesn't know the difference when it comes to these things. If he was fully aware, it'd be totally different. And I for one wouldn't take kindly to someone randomly going down on me if they've never done it while I was fully aware of who they were. That means you're not absolutely certain.
No, this situation does not make you gay but... I personally find it hard to believe you didn't at some point find anything unusual about the encounter. Perhaps subconsciously you had an idea it might be your room mate and didn't want to acknowledge it. Maybe you aren't quite ready to admit that to yourself. Either way, don't beat yourself up over it but you might want to talk to your room mate.

I guess we all have opinions on this but I think to be gay you need to be attracted to men.
Kissing guys for me would be the boundary. If you found a man attractive and desired to kiss him - then you're more than likely gay.
