I don't show my face publicly on lush anymore for professional reasons, though for a certain group of people my shirt combined with my username would reveal my identity.
In the years I've been on this site, I've only been recognized twice: Once by the lushie I was picking up at the airport, and once by a lushie I went to visit. So, apparently I do look like my av.
