I come from a country that doesn't put a lawsuit on a friend or neighbour for falling over outside their house...i have no understanding and would most likely be in proceedings by someone before i even stepped of the plane in the USA...to me its weird. i know Aussie are starting to go down that road and the UK.. I am sure we will follow suit (forgive the pun). but i hope it isn't in my lifetime...

Well personally, I think we'd be better served by proper industrial and commercial regulation so that we don't need to use lawsuits to get companies to not murder you, but hey, that's just me. Did you know that, thanks to people like Orrin Hatch (R), the FDA can't regulate "dietary supplements" until after people get hurt? Yay...
