Men who cheat are considered by women as "scum" or worse. However, let's look at history:

Presidents who cheated and their accomplishments:

Eisenhower; Victory in Europe (actually he cheated while a general, not President, but still a cheater
Kennedy: Space program
Johnson: Medicare/voting rights acts (ok Vietnam too, but the Republicans were very much
in support).
Clinton Lowest deficit, eight straight years of economic growth

Presidents who didn't cheat and their "accomplishments"

Nixon Water
Carter Highest inflation ever
Reagan Largest peacetime deficit until that time
Bush Sr. Even larger deficit
Bush Jr. Worst economy since the depression.

Presidents who didn't cheat and their accomplishments:

Ford Nice guy, healed the nation after Watergate
Obama Got us out of the recession, saved the auto industry, got Bin Laden.

No, but he took responsiblity for the gamble. If the guy the shot had just been a well-to-do farmer, or even worse a local cleric, then his chances for re-election would been hurt and more importantly American prestige. The outrage in the Muslim world would be been enormous.

It is likely that Obama's speech in Cairo, an outreach to the Muslim world, helped set in motion that led to an informant coming to the CIA. (A very unpopular thing to do in his part of the world).

I am sorry, that list is so shallow and lacks any real reasons or circumstances for anything listed that it becomes worthless as a guide or proof of anything. It might however, be suitable for The Think Tank, for those who might want to discuss it. I personally find the whole concept to be pointless.

Oh please. Obama's a filthy liar.

By that rationale, we need to find John Edwards. We'll then find out which came first. Or, lets hope Joseph P. doesn't fall far from tree.

There's a certain amount of logic here, but it's more the Fox News brand of logic than actually taking a good look at the facts

Saved the auto industry huh? OR did he give millions of tax payer dollars to millionaires so they wouldn't have to invest their own money?

Not "so they wouldn't have to". Rather "because they wouldn't step up".

No, it was basically a loan. A loan which has since be repaid, keeping thousands off welfare and foodstamps. A good deal all around.

Basicly, it was a low interest loan with company stock as securtity ... Pretty much the same as a bank would do

Just recently the government sold stock they held in GM at a loss of nearly 10 billion. This is never as clean as politicians would like you to believe. Main stream media has done a good job of propping up Owe-bama . The real reality is we are over 17 trillion in debt with no slowing in the rate the debt is climbing. For a president who claimed he would cut the debt in half I think his better phrase was about doubling down. I definitely wouldn't want him gambling with my money but I guess he is in a round about way.

That's a lie, plain and simple. You have no credibility.

man the entire monetary system is a joke. our economy is nothing more than a dead horse hooked up to a cart that we're trying to push from the back. we should've collapsed the fed last month and got it over with when we had the chance. instead what do we do? say fuck it. what debt ceiling? lets just have a money printing free for all til february because that'll fix the shit.

Obama DID NOT do anything to get Osama. He just happened to be in office. He wanted Ossama brought back alive. Get your FACTS correct.

Yes, a loan. Yes, it is so.

Why engage in creepy name-calling?

One part of what you're implying is correct- and that's that even though the loan was paid back, the loan was only part of the total bailout.

There are lots of divergent viewpoints in here, and we mostly keep it respectful. Calling people stupid right out of the gate is not respectful.
