Knowing I was going to spending some serious home time, hubby thoughtfully picked up some new CD's, Mick Jagger's first solo record "She's The Boss", "Huey Lewis & The News-Picture This", and most surprising of all, an import box set of Slade!

Nicola has it right on with Portishead. Love it! I was lucky enough to see them in concert once. She has the shyest stage presence I have ever seen, and yet so haunting!

Also great Portishead memories because the first striptease I ever did for my (very first) boyfriend was to Portishead's "All Mine". Not quite sure how a girl that had just popped her cherry could choose a song that intensely twisted, but anyways... should have been a sign of what was to come.. LOL

In the realm of Portishead type artists, Mazzy Star, Sia, and Nouvelle Vague are also great playlist adds...

Funny how much I am listening to my playlist these days! Bringing back a lot of memories...
