For most of my life I found tatoos a real turn off but for the last few years they've become a real turn on. So turn on or turn off and has anyone else changed their opinion?

Depending on the tattoo and where it is located it can be a turn on... otherwise it is just there, it won't turn me on but it won't turn me off either.
Maybe it's an age thing but ink does nothing for me and can be a turn off, esp. when there's a lot of it. A small tat or two is fine. Not a turn-on but won't put me off. It's the folks who have huge tattoos covered their arms (or other areas) that turn me off. I find a visual distraction at best and kind of gross at worst. My own anxiety about needles likely doesn't help of course.

I do like them - depending on the style, placement and quality. Those things make a huge difference in whether they'd be considered a turn-on or turn-off. Good ink with some thought behind it can be very sexy. Size and quantity of the pieces don't matter as much. I've been attracted to people with no tattoos and people with lots of tattoos. It's really about the vibe of the person and the way they've chosen to represent themselves through the medium of ink and art.
If you look at some of the tattoo-focused shows on TV like Ink Master or the ones specializing in cover-ups of really bad ink, you can see how much a tattoo can make a person more beautiful/interesting OR more likely to never want to take their clothes off. If you're going to do it, make sure it's by a good artist and that you know what you're doing. Then it can definitely add to some intrigue about the person or up the sex-appeal factor.
I do have one myself, although it's small, and will likely get at least one more at some point in my life.
