I love how people keep comming to this fine establishment for enrichment, weather it's needed or not.
How about a drink Rump. I see you lost a daughter over that wedding thing.

All I can say is: that boy better take care of that girl.

Slippery, couldn't agree more with her ladyship, stop pulling that voyeur stuff and get in here and switch to exhibitionism. This is, after all...

TITTY TUESDAY!

Scooter, welcome back! (slides over something of an alcoholic nature) Here you go. Not exactly on the house...more like Dirty Martini's bar tab...which is about the same thing.

Well Made one, Thanks for the ZZ Top vid. Just some old Texas boys trying to make a go of it in the music world.

BTW: It's 'Happy Hour' here at Rumplations. That means our oft commented on, one-for-two special is now in effect.

(slides a quart jar containing a liquic of a sickly pink hue and indeterminate origin over to Maz) Here you go, Maz. Just got in a shipment of this generic Ripple. Should be interesting. Let me know what you think after you finih it off, assuming it doesn't finish you off first.

Welcome to, Rumplations, Barrone. Except for the odd wine-head or two (see above) the drink of choice around here is Beaver Breath Brandy. There's also some, Old Misanthropic Bourbon: the despair of Needmore, Ky, available for a nominal fee. Make yourself to home. Just one bit of advice, do not sit down draft from Coma and Tose, the two semi-catatonic old 'farts over at the corner table.

Now, if the rest of you will excuse us, I'll try to lure Slippery into the back room and con here into letting this blind guy 'see' what he's been missing on this 'Titty Tuesday.

Morning and a happy 'Wanton Wednesday' to all Lushlanders wherever they may roam.

Got a plentiful supply of Beaver Breath Brandy so don't be shy about sampling Busty's warm, brownish, caffeinated liquid.

Scooter, the very thought of you and DM being at the same table with Coma and Tose is, well, breath taking.

Slippery, all I gotta say to you, young lady is, "Egads, foiled again."

Afternoon! Wanton Wednesday, huh? I like the sound of that...

Productive morning for me, now to put all my groceries away and get a curry going in the slow cooker (crock pot)

Don't worry, there will be plenty for all...

Morning, All. Well, it's raining for the fiftysevenhundredth day in a row. Glad I'm working from home for the next few days. Bad, humid hair be damned.

Mazz, is that curry gonna be ready soon? I think I'll have some for breakfast.

Just about to put the rice on now... Got nice garlic naan breads and fresh coriander to chop over it...

As a matter of interest, I saw a recipe for banana and peanut butter ice cream... I'm going to make some! The bananas are in the freezer now... I'll let you know how that goes...

'Banana and peanut butter ice cream?' The mind reels while the tummy churns. ;)

But seriously folks, my latest insult to good taste and English letters, 'Hot Fries and Cold Beer' has just been posted over on StoriesSpace.com. If you get a chance, please give it a look and let me know what you think.

I haven't been over there since September... (Next time I am, which will have to be soon, as I have some things to do) :)

Promise I'll find it when I'm next there though x

The ice cream was fantastic!!! Although, next time I make it, I might just grind almonds or something through it...

Glass of red before bed now...

Night guys!

Maz, you'll be in for a reading experience you won't soon forget...try as ye may. ;)

Let me get this straight, you want something sort of like an ice cream sundae using peanut butter and bananas ice cream topped with a heaping helping of some fine red wine like, for instance, Thunderbird?

O-k-a-y. Been nice knowing you.

Good Evening my Lushkin Friends...wow, some big time stuff going on over here...that really is some wonderful news there Miss Mazza...don't forget us little folks when you become a big time movie producer...at least shout out when you drive past the bar in a limo or something...

Btw, Reverend...I do intend on checking out your latest insult to good taste and the English language...the title sort of intrigues me, in a positive sort of way I might add...

Apparently, it has been pointed out over on the blue site that I have a problem reading though...and Miss Rascal was nice enough to suggest that I get glasses to help me read...not sure how this is going to work, but who am I to argue with Miss Rascal...

(Lines up four tall glasses on the bar)

Anyway...could you be so kind as to fill up these here glasses...one with Beaver Breath, one with tequila, one with bourbon, and the last with moonshine...

Yeah, I'm not sure how this will help me with my reading...but Maggie did suggest it, so I'm willing to give it a shot...anything to help out the site...

I'll let you know how it works...I figure it won't hurt to be good and drunk before I read Rump's story anyway...ahem...

Cheers,
Alan.

(fills the four glasses provided by Dirty Martini with the fluids he requested) I'd suggest a couple more rounds before you tackle, Hot Fries and Cold Beer over on StoriesSpace.

Morning, lovers of the Lush life. Busty's coffee has a pleasant, flavorful smell this morning...but it taste the same, :(

Just so y'all will know and can make your plans early: April 30, will mark the 80th birthday of, Willie Nelson.

Hello, everyone. I've been dealing with lots of rain and sinkhole that swallowed up three cars, a flooded bus, and working on a final project before graduating in two weeks. I have reubens on marble rye, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing with a pitcher of moonshine.

As for me, I started off the day having blood work done. Later I'll be going in for the old yearly physical. I am NOT amused...but at least I can drink now.

Happy Friday, Everyone!!

Sharon, sounds like you're enjoying the flooding as much as I am. At least we're taking a break from all the rain with the nice "wintery mix" today. confused5

Rump, since I came in a big third place in the Lush humor competition, I would like to buy a round of drinks for everyone. I can pay with a potato, right? Ask Nic, I'm good for it. evil4 evil4

CG, I join with whatever semi-sober folks may be around in congratulating you on that third place finish.

As for buying those drinks with a potato for collateral, well, I guess it depends on whether it's just another run-of-the-mill spud or a gpump sweet tater. :)

BTW, I passed my physical today. The Doc said I was in great shape for a 90 year-old. When I pointed out that I was about a quarter of a century younger, he double-checked my medical records then shook my hand and said, "It's been good knowing you."

Morning, y'all. Coffee's on. It's another Busty brew but either this stuff is starting to kill off my taste buds or she's getting a bit better at brewing. (sip...grimace) Then again, maybe not.

Either the weather was great all over Lushland or folks were PO'ed at me over that double-post. Whatever the case, it was a no-show Saturday.

That no-show list included your feckless bartender. Got tickets to the live-from-Austin broadcast of, A Prarie Home Companion, with 'Asleep At The Wheel' the main guest. Me, I thought it was a great show and well worth the cost of admission, particularly with someone else paying.

Good Evening, Lushites! I have great news. I booked four freelance photography gigs last night for the month of May. The first one is for a nonprofit start-up, the rest are paid. The last one is going to be for a very important client I met through a mutual friend. I'm staying optimistic through it all, because I know a great job as a writer/photographer is nearing.

I have to run and put my portfolio together. I forgot to mention, I'm going to have a mini photo show soon. The pictures are taken in original black and white film, and one resembles a Rembrandt painting. I'll post the link when it's ready.
