With the exception of hairs and nails, we eat the whole pig.
I like my bacon chewy or also raw, yeahhhhh. Never crunchy
Do I eat it? Hardly ever.
I might use very little and not too often in cooking, combined as a source of fat and for its flavor as the "pancetta".
As a rule of thumb: if it's tasty, it's bad for you. Sigh!

Rick Thick cut doesn't do it for you Rick? What about Canadian bacon?

He complained that he wanted his BLTs to use cherry tomatoes for their much, much better flavor, but then that made for an awkward sammich. His take? He turned the bread into croutons and made a cherry tomato, lettuce, bacon salad.

I love it in BLT's of course, sometimes with breakfast and with liver and onions. Also crumbled in a salad every now and then.

Does anything smell better than bacon cooking on a cold winter morning?
I like bacon crisy but not burnt. If you hold the bacon strip on the end its should still bend slightly!! I love it on a BLT or with melted cheese on a Bagel ( and then lots of extra running to burn it off, LOL)
Did anyone see the bacon flavored milk shake that some fast food place is now selling? I love bacon but YUK!!!

Once a week... it's just once a week so I make it worth it.
Two strips, thick cut... still a little chewy.
With Two Eggs, over easy, fried in the bacon grease.
Wheat Toast and Orange Marmalade.
Oh, and can I have a Bloody Mary with extra hot sauce?
