I could easily select all of them, there are too many things I sometimes wish I had done differently. The most important thing is learning from your mistakes, this is why I try not to beat myself up when I think about certain things.

Life goes on, we grow, change and, sometimes, we even mature. I appreciate the offer but I'm going to hang onto my regrets, they make me who I am and I'm happy with the person I've become.

You're forgetting about the woman who has to carry the foetus, if she's been abused / raped / sexually assaulted why should she have to carry a foetus and give birth to a baby because you disagree with abortion? Surely her mental health and well being is important, or is it not as important as the foetus? Should she become an incubator for the unborn child and become a secondary citizen in her own body?

Also, innocent lives are lost through the death penalty. It's too easy for someone innocent to be put to death, so for me, its not worth the risk, and on top of that, it costs a fortune to do it.

If you want to argue about innocent lives being lost, then you should also argue against contraception and male masturbation, every sperm that is released without the chance to fertilise an egg is a potential innocent life wasted!

Its not the weapons that need to be regulated ,it is the people that misuse them. If someone wants to harm another they will find a way to do it . A stick ,a club ,a spear,a pipe bomb,a car ,maybe even beat them with a dead cat,who knows ? Until we the people can control the other people that have harm on their mind we will not be able to stop the attacks on innocent people.
There are no easy answers but I still hold with the fact that a gun will not shoot multipal people with out there being a person behind it .

I agree with you about the royal security. I remember reading about an actress in one of the soaps having to set up a password with her doctor because so many paparazzi were ringing pretending to be her, this way no sensitive information would get into the wrong hands. That was the level of interest in a soap star, everyone knows the interest in Kate is massive . It amazes me that something as basic as a password wasn't in place, nevermind any other security measures they could have put in place.

I'm struggling to find the words to respond to this for the same reason as Little Bambi. I've known someone threaten suicide as a cry for help, only to be told by a medical professional that the only way he would be able to get the help he needed was by attempting suicide. Otherwise, the waiting lists would be so long he wouldn't get the help he needed in time.

You're assuming that this woman hadn't sought help, you're assuming that she was capable of dealing with her issues well enough to seek help, to ask for it.

The very idea that suicide is the 'easy way out', a 'selfish choice', is narrow minded and ignorant. It is the last option, people commit suicide when they can't think of any other way to make things better. They often believe that the world will be better without them, that their family and friends will be better without them. That thought process might not make sense to you, but someone who has suicidal thoughts often isn't thinking too clearly because they have serious issues that they need help dealing with.

It takes a hell of a lot for a person to ask for help, too many people can't find the words and too often they don't realise that there's something wrong; they're so used to feeling that way that they think there's something wrong with them for not dealing with things better.

Assuming you want to keep your face out of it, headless torso shots work for me... or turn your head so that it's partly shadowed or not full-on to the camera to conceal your identity. Show off the body. Use pics that give a viewer at least a generalized idea of what you look like.

If you want to show cock, make sure it's attached to the rest of your body in the pic, and not just a medical close up from multiple angles. I think that's the turn off to a lot of women. It's nice to see the full package - not just a disembodied appendage.

This thread is for people new to this lifestyle, those who just want to learn more about it and, hopefully, help those who have the wrong view of it to understand better.

I welcome any dom/mes and subs to give their own views on things as well, and also for anyone to ask any questions you may have, I or another member will try to answer them.

To begin with, I'll try to dispel some wrong views people have about BDSM.

1. Being part of BDSM is not a mental problem, it is a lifestyle choice that people enjoy and does NOT mean there is anything wrong with them.

2. A very important point is everything done in BDSM should be safe and consensual. Anyone involved must be aware and agree to what they want to happen and must be safe about how they go about it.

3. It is not only about pain, the letters stand for (Bondage and Discipline) (Domination and Submission) (Sadism) and (Masochism), while some may enjoy pain, this is only part of BDSM and is not done by all, from most I know, those that do enjoy pleasure through pain is actually the minority of the group.

3.1. I should add here, pain may be used as part of punishments if a sub breaks their rules, a Dom/me will usually not enjoy having to really punish their sub, but it is necessary, but is NOT the only thing the relationship is about.

4. ALWAYS respect and abide by the rules given to a sub by their Dom/me, NEVER ask them to break these rules, and especially NEVER ask them to leave their Dom/me, that is just wrong and if you do, the Dom/me is perfectly in their right to warn you off and tell their sub to never speak to you again, and will likely give your name to other Dom/mes and subs to warn them as well, we in the lifestyle look out for each other.

5. Unless a sub is your sub, or you have express permission from the sub if they are unowned or a subs Dom/me if they are, you should NEVER try to dominate or try to play with them, it will not be received well. And if a sub is owned it is best not to ask their Dom/me to 'borrow' them as it were, almost every Dom/me will say no and may take offence.
