Literary
Favourite author(s)
I don’t read enough of one to call any one author my favorite.
Favourite book(s)
I feasted on the Harry Potter series with my sons. Guilty pleasures for an adult, all of them.
The book that changed my life
It is a collection of books, really. It is very old, well-travelled, and I
am tentatively calling it the Bible. Very deep, and so misunderstood. I
find that if you bring you own preconceived ideas into the reading of it,
you miss the message. Put aside your ideas of conspiracy and
tampering. No set of books could carry the same divine thread and
incur the scorn and wrath of millions without being of Divine descent.
What are you currently reading
“Coming Home Crazy”, by Bill Holm, which is a collection of stories about
his observations on life in China. “The Trouble With Islam Today”, by
Irshad Manji, who I can only describe as a courageous religionist and
not, as she would love to think, a true Muslim believer.
I'm inspired by...
Og Mandino. He is dead now, but he wrote a wonderful series of books on life.
I started writing because...
It was a way for me to express myself, to put out my views on life and then
craft my words to say exactly what I felt. It is very empowering, very
satisfying.
Aside from writing, what occupies your time
I am involved with my family, and this year I aspire to
getting the yard and house fixed up the way I want them.
As a family, it has been a long haul getting back to a life of
normalcy and satisfaction after Hurricane Katrina blew us
out of Louisiana.
Erotic
How did you get in to writing erotica?
I began putting my fantasies down on paper (uh, the computer)
several years ago, and began to try and get better at it as I went
along. The Internet opened up a whole new world to me, and so
I found erotic story sites and even sent some to one. But it is here
that I have found a home, and I enjoy all the nifty ‘extras’ that
come along with being an author here.
I get feedback, encouragement, criticism, and, at times, I do take
an idea or request offered by a reader. We even have ratings for
our stories, so I can see what works.
What's your favourite writing genre and why
I am going to assume this is relegated to erotica. I have a
strange attraction to particular incest stories, and I do not
know why. None of my incest stories involve a male
dominant, such as a father/daughter or uncle/niece
scenario. Clearly, I am closer to my mom than my dad,
right?
But I will offer a clue: it is a taboo, it pushes the sexual
envelope. The participants are joined together in a way
where the secrecy heightens both the attraction and the
passion, at least in my inexperienced mind. I know that
there is a horrible possibility and reality of abuse to be
involved in real life incest situations, so I approach it as a
mutual need and desire for both participants.
I do find it amusing that we grow up with family members
and then try to avoid noticing their bodies. When I was a
lad, my sister, older than me by almost two years, would
join me in a bedtime game of drawing on each other’s back.
There were times when she would pull up her nightgown
(on the backside) so that it would be easier for her to guess
what I was drawing.
She had incredible breasts. I checked out her bra size one
day, like a lustful young brother, and saw she was a full
36D. But we were good Christians, and even though there
Were a couple of moments when she kissed me, and even
grabbed for my crotch. I should have let her…
So, to think that we as family members don’t think of each
other sexually is crazy.
The fact that my stories here have attracted any bit of a
following indicates that this is a very real fantasy with both
men and women.
Where do you get your creative juice/story ideas from?
I really mean this: aside from letting my mind
create fantasies that I aspire to, I really want to
have women enjoy my stories and feel as if I am
touching on their needs and desires. If I get
comments from both men and women, I am
grateful for both. However, my life has been a
bit of a shambles, so to hear a woman’s
encouragement and enjoyment of my stories is a
big rush for me. It is a validation of my style
and thought.
What are your turn-ons?
I enjoy knowing and understanding the subtleties of pleasure, such as what a
woman actually feels when she is experiencing pleasure, and the ecstasy of an
orgasm. I write in a way that all participants enjoy what they are doing; men
enjoy the taste of a woman, women love to swallow. These are my desires, and
my characters will mirror what I like to think is a wonderful sexual partner and
what I personally like.
What are your turn-offs?
I have written some very aggressive stories that involve forced sexual
situations. I do not enjoy rape, nor pedophilia, nor pain. I push some
boundaries, but I do so if the characters find an acceptable release and pleasure.
Oddly enough, I get turned off by father/daughter incest relationships. I believe
This is because psychologically I view any male dominant as an interloper, and
because my fantasy is with women, and not men. Men are necessary
benefactors to my fantasies. They are the lucky ones, because sexual women
who desire to please men are my heroes.
I am not about dominating a woman sexually. I want to release her, to be a
part of that release. I also want to direct that release to meet my fantasies, so
in that regard, I do impose some benign control.
I hate scat-related ideas.
General
Music I frequently listen to
Coldplay, U2, Keane, The Shins, Andrea Bocelli, Sarah
Brightman.
My favourite work of art is
Well, I do enjoy paintings of places, whose tones invoke emotions of the
places they depict; i.e, a cobblestone street in a European town speaks of
simplicity, peace, and certain need for escape.
Favourite Movies
The Matrix (my view on life and God), Seven Years in Tibet, Girl With a Pearl Earring,
The Green Mile.
Which websites do you regularly visit
I am a cyber-bore, but I have been a part of an adult
breastfeeding site, which is a fetish growing in popularity. It is
called ANRspace.com, and I keep these two worlds very separate.
What would be a perfect weekend for you
A sunny New England beach, very isolated, with a good book,
pen and paper, and an assortment of wines. Add to that a
woman who loves the same, and Viola! It would be grand!
Ideal holiday destination
I have this dream of going to Italy or Paris and spending a week sitting at
cafes, listening to and watching the people as they pass by. Yes, an entire
week.
At home I cook
Italian, but I miss fresh, fried seafood. A shrimp po’boy, please!
The hardest thing I've ever done was
Hiding the bodies. No, I’d say it used to be giving speeches.
Right now, I’d say the hardest thing is being the man I need to be.
I’m very open about my mistakes. It’s cathartic. But I am not
weepy. I just wish I hadn’t made the mistakes.
Most surprising thing people could find out about you
That I am deeper than I appear. I come across,
in real life, as a odd fellow, flighty, but I do have
some intelligence, and I understand life. I am not
comfortable in my skin yet.
For those outside this site, it would be that I write
erotic stories. Anonymity is like a warm blanket.
I don't like talking about...
uh, knitting. Bowel movements.
What I find amusing is
Women’s fascination with ugly shoes.
What I don't find amusing is
The price associated with women’s fascination of ugly shoes.
If I wasn't me I'd like to be
The person I am destined to be. I can’t stand the delays.
I often wonder...
What a normal sex life would have been like. Okay, there is no such thing. Wait, I
don’t believe that, either. My stories are driven by my needs and desires. All of our
stories are, at some point.
Thanks ASubtlepassion for you time. We thoroughly recommend you have a read of ASubtlepassion's work.
