Quite common for men to be turned on by lesbians and there is a lot of talk about it but the opposite never seems to be the case or is it just me? I have heard Madonna express a desire to watch two men having sex but that's the only example I can recall.

Despite my guitar music inclinations a piece that reminds me of my first serious affair is Rachmaninov's 18th Variation of Pagnini's 24th Caprice. I can even remember that it was J3 on a Juke box in a coffee bar near the Empire theatre in Sunderland which had an usual selection of records. The coffee bar was pulled down to build a horrible traffic system but I think she's still around somewhere in that town. Inevitably whenever I hear that piano piece I remember.

I'm more interested in the origin of the expression. I can hardly see some camouflaged soldier knife in hand and creeping towards some German radar installation during the 1940's being without his ''drawers cellulose soldiers for the use of.''

Yes, while our shifts in definition have allowed for a lot of interesting sayings, it does make it difficult on a guy when he's trying to write properly.
Even though when I say 'it's pissing me off', I am using the American definition of 'piss'. I'm not getting drunk. Relax.

No we use that saying in the same way but we used just ''pissed'' to mean drunk not angry. We're on the piss (drinking), I'm pissed off with him (I'm angry with him). :)

Topic Arab - North African Cocks ...

Recent studies make clear no significant genetic differences exist between Arabic and non-Arabic speaking populations, HLA DNA data suggest that most Moroccans are of a Berber origin and that Arabs who invaded North Africa and Spain in the 7th century did not substantially contribute to the gene pool. The Moorish refugees from Spain settled in the coast-towns. According to a 2000 article in European Journal of Human Genetics, Moroccans from North-Western Africa were genetically closer to Iberians than to West Africans and Middle Easterners
The different loci studied revealed close similarity between the Berbers and other north African groups, mainly with Moroccan Arabic-speakers, which is in accord with the hypothesis that the current Moroccan population has a strong Berber background.

Still a more hands on study might be more fun.

According to academics American English is more archaic than the UK version even some of the meanings are historically different like ''mad'' meaning angry which I first noted in an Elvis song The Girl of My Best Friend. The US version is closer to Elizabethan than current UK. However I feel the US's strength is in colourful (colorful) :) sayings like ''that's all she wrote'' again from an Elvis song ''King Creole'' - wonderful.

Well Guinea is Western Africa, doesn't fall in Arab nor Northern Africa.

But yeah I would imagine they are ... you know what they say about the origin of Vuvuzela, the plastic horn used in soccer stadiums in Africa

"A gun is no more dangerous than a cricket bat in the hands of a madman."
This is a quote from the UK's most stupid royal the Duke of Edinburgh (the queen's husband) He is noted for making unthinking public remarks. Here is another example just to illustrate the point.
"If you stay here much longer, you'll all be slitty-eyed.
Said to a group of British students in China in 1986, as quoted in "Long line of princely gaffes" BBC News (1 March 2002). The point I'm trying to make is that nobody questioned that this was a stupid thing to say - nobody offered any argument about that. Yet on this post people have said exactly the same kind of thing in all seriousness.

People seem to be redefining definitions here as to what porn is ie they are talking about only pictures but all of it is considered to be porn that is writing as well. Not that I am arguing just noting the change of meaning as language is always in a state of constant flu and this seems to be an example.

: the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement
2
: material (as books or a photograph) that depicts erotic behavior and is intended to cause sexual excitement
3
: the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction

It's what sports fans in the U.S. do, and makes for fine distraction. Hockey players are considerably underpaid imo.

Got more respect for the people who play some sport than the fans. It's like watching paint dry (even the paint some fans daub their faces with. :)) If they earn more than bus drivers they're overpaid.

i think a lot of countries could say that, yes. We are not soley responsible for every single country in the entire world, you know. i mean, seriously.

Oh I'm so pleased you acknowledge that and grateful too. Seriously. In fact I'm sure a lot of countries would be grateful if they weren't saved anymore.

Topic Just take away the guns, do it now

Strange question. Firstly avoiding the issue after having posed the question and secondly starting another deviation. Let's recap and return to the original debate - some person went on about god given rights to have guns which I thought hypocritical - this led to others' patriotic sloganeering. I have not championed any particular country or cause mainly arguing about the contradiction of personally owned firearms. To me this issue is a sort of joke like those James Cagney movies with machine guns etc so over the top they were amusing - so unreal. However that doesn't seem to be the case with you guys; you find this not only serious but normal (that in itself would be quite funny if the consequences weren't so serious). However don't think I am avoiding your greed question I just feel it's irrelevant.
