Topic If you could lick any flavour ice cream off someone, what would it be?
Posted 17 Apr 2014 17:44

Not sure about the flavor.. but I'll definitely go for the two scoop on one cone.

... Licking the ice cream or start from the bottom of the waffle cone? Hmn, this is the question

Topic Keeping Your Mouth Shut or Speaking what is on your mind.
Posted 17 Apr 2014 17:22

I feel that I got to do both. The real issue is when to speak and when not. If I never do speak my mind I find to have and keep lots of friends and acquaintances, at a price.

If I do.. ahhh I might lose some, so I got to weight the issue versus the human.

I try to remember that when the word is out.. is out

When you find a simple way to handle this.. please let me know.

Topic Flying..who loves it, who is terrified of it
Posted 17 Apr 2014 17:02

Flying as the only viable way to go to a distant place it’s always been welcomed by me and I always enjoyed it. No matter how long the flight, I have never been bored. I always had books, magazines and also info of the place that I was about to visit that kept me engaged.

With that said, lets step a little in today’s flying. I’m concerned; I also find it to be a hassle. The screenings, the free pat-down, the lines and the ever mounting restrictions add to an unfriendly experience. Yes, I do agree of the necessity so I always comply by making their job easier and a bit smoother for myself. You must admit however that we have lost some freedom.

On one of my last flight I had to explain why I had so many small electronics and wires in my bag. It was all neat in the bag and it was all photographic material. Actually since the advent of digital photography it was not a lot at all . Just the films and batteries that I used to carry that today I’m not any longer.

I also feel that the attendants of a few years ago had impeccable manners.

Topic What is the most important "life lesson" you have learned?
Posted 16 Apr 2014 18:03

People don't change. If they have hurt you before then they probably will again.

Shannon forgive me, I don't mean to contradict... I was hurt myself. So this are my thoughts.

People grow so they may change a bit, but regardless.. if they hurt "again" is because they were given the chance.

Ha Ha Congrats... in my opinion you had a great first kiss. I would have to use the same words, stupid and funny. I would just add excitement of the unknown.

Although, I'm sure they showed only the best or more appropriate parts; that vid is really some experiment.

Topic watching wife with ex-bfs
Posted 15 Apr 2014 16:50

I am not married but I would not want that. Something is like poison honey, you can enjoy as you eat it, but after the pleasure, it can be deadly. I don't want to kill love in my heart just for a few min pleasure. It is just my idea, of course. I also respect what other people think

You have put it well. Great, however is supposed to give "a few min of (consenting) pleasure" not "kill love in your heart".

I've tried several from your profile and didn't have any problems.

Could you give us an example link please?

Liz thanks for your help.

This is where I get the error described.

(in the "keoloke's Friends" section) today I clicked on:

naughtiestmommy. (first profile) I also right clicked and opened in another tab and window.

(In the favourite story section) I clicked on:

1) uscale-down-chpt-2 this is the address http://www.lushstories.com/stories/novels/uscale-down-chpt-2-my-husband-tells.aspx

2) Upscale Down - Going off Kilter

3) I sent the links to a friend and she experienced the same error.

I used to able to do it by going to SEARCH than STORIES than type the title, but not any longer.

On another issue. About a week ago or more I renewed my support with LS, or so I think I did. I even remember seeing Paypal as a choice and I was surprised since they usually do not accept a payment because the nature of LS. Anyway, I have to check my accounts. Again, thanks for your help.

Topic Check a site for Heartbleed vulnerability.
Posted 12 Apr 2014 17:35

Do you trust that site? If your site is vulnerable to the Heartbleed bug could this check just alert that fact to a potential attacker?

The best way to find out if your site is vulnerable is to ask the admin if it uses OpenSSL 1.01 or 1.02 beta - if it does, then it's vulnerable. Update your certificates and patch up OpenSSL. You should be fine after that.

Overmykneenow thanks for more info. Yes, I do trust that site. Trust on the web as we have been seeing is a rare commodity. Anyway, the programmer is Filippo Valsorda an Italian consultant and doing currently some work with youtube. The creation of Heartbleed was literally handed out, I doubt they need also an "alert", but yes, anything can be.

I just wanted to give fellow Lushies some quick way to check a web site. This is a problem and some steps must be taken now. More info is coming out. Mashable.com has a list of sites and instructions on what to do NOW if we have used them in the past. The problem is being discovered as getting larger and affecting not only web server but also high tech apparatus as routers, firewalls and such. Now we’re also talking of hardware not just software.

It looks like that this “banal error”... made by Robin Saggelman is because an add-on made on OpenSSL which is an Open-Source. This over two years ago.

The problem is that there isn't much we can do about it and that little that we can it should come from instructions of reputable sites. Changing a password on a site that did not finish to address the problem it's useless and at large it could be counterproductive. My 2 cents

Topic Goodtime Burger Ad - do you find it Offensive?
Posted 11 Apr 2014 15:11

I don't find it offensive. Also not a fan.

I feel it must be really hard to reach an audience with an Ad for a burger. The other option would be to make us salivate with a great photo, but every company does that and most everyone knows the look of a great burger as most peoples can make it at home.

Ads cost money. They are not stupid. I think they are exactly were they wanted to be. Have people talk about it.

Topic les-bi-honest have you ever kissed another girls...did you like it

kissing a girl is generally softer and more experienced once we get to know what we like... different then men and their beards lol

ahhhh After reading this posts you girls make me feel that I have been missing something. That I would need to be a woman to truly feel the difference.

A kiss is not a kiss? I mean with passion, impetuous. There's more?

Topic What's Your Greatest Fear In Life?
Posted 11 Apr 2014 10:50

The greatest (if it can be said that way) fear is the actual feeling of fear. Once I truly stop and think about a fear I realize that is the fear in itself that holds the power, a control that is given by me. I can correlate to fears that I once had (and ran my life) that I do not feel any longer.

Topic Never tolerate the intolerant
Posted 11 Apr 2014 08:40

All three have since changed their positions on the issue and taken affirmative steps in support of gay marriage.

All three advanced in their careers. One became CEO of Mozilla for a few days. Number two became Secretary of State. Number three won the presidency twice.

I believe that you're just (understandably) too upset.

However in my opinion, it was NOT intolerance . It was politics as usual. Gay issues are better mass accepted. Famous peoples from every field are coming out every day, and these peoples have lots of fans. So our great and chosen by us (sort of) political reps not only shift their vision toward it, but now they even fight it saying that's immoral not to support it.

They are just not afraid any longer of loosing constituents. Most they could not care less. My 2 cents

We cannot even show an erotic (straight) work of art in a museum... that was painted 400 years ago.

Ok Gay is done.. next issue Bi. ooops this is going to be tough.

It's all about being ourselves.

We're prisoner of our own mind.

Topic Sexy Images In Fine Art...
Posted 11 Apr 2014 08:07

Not many think of Picasso as an erotic painter but he did quite a few. I don’t know how he saw eroticism though as no one was explicitly sexually charged (that I have seen) as other artist as for example Egon Schiele. What trouble must have been to do such paintings 100 years ago.

This Picasso (La Douleur) from the MET NYC collection, (sort of) here is too explicit to show.. well at least here. Go figure it.

Topic RIP - Peaches Geldof (Aged 25)
Posted 10 Apr 2014 20:04

Wow 25 years old woman with a husband and two children. Awfully sad news.

This was also sad. She was sent to school the next day. First time I hear it!

Speaking to Elle Magazine in 2012, Peaches said she had not come to terms with Yates's death for several years.

"I remember the day my mother died, and it's still hard to talk about it. I just blocked it out. I went to school the next day because my father's mentality was 'keep calm and carry on'," she said.

"So we all went to school and tried to act as if nothing had happened. But it had happened. I didn't grieve. I didn't cry at her funeral. I couldn't express anything because I was just numb to it all. I didn't start grieving for my mother properly until I was maybe 16."

I think I'm going to move to Key West in hopes that they declare independence again.

That sounds damn goooood. Especially after this horrible winter. NY here.

Key West is also probably one of the most colorful places on Earth… where everything goes. Is it time for “Fantasy Fest” festival? Aaaarghhghgh If Lush should have a branch office it should reside there haha.

Topic Why is the universe so big?
Posted 01 Apr 2014 18:18

From what I've learned, it goes something like this...

Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started. Wait...
The Earth began to cool,
The autotrophs began to drool,
Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall (we built the pyramids),
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries,
That all started with the big bang!

BANG

I have been experiencing the below error.

I get it by clicking links on my profile. From the Forum links. From the story search box, from there I type a few keyword... It takes me to the right page, I click and get the error.

I never used to get it from the forums.

I'm not the only one, just today a friend keeps on getting it too. It was never a big issue, as I was getting to the desired page from other locations, now however it got worse.

Ouch, maybe Nicola excommunicated me. Yes, I'm guilty. I was drinking.. at the keyboard, but it was good stuff. Promise.

Topic Wife with another man question
Posted 31 Mar 2014 06:26

You already got some good advises from both views. Let me add my two cents.

It’s a man’s fantasy. In your case she knows it and its ok, than go ahead and start some serious communication. Lay some bricks, if the house is made of stone it may not fall. If not it will be stressed by every wind from every side and that's plenty enough trouble, but it may also fall. That's the end.

- Pick a stranger. That should at least take care of future indiscretions, cleanliness it's another beast. Since it was never done before, do it on a vacation trip or with someone that you would not meet again. At least the problem could be ending there. A good bet could be with a swinger couple willing to be with newbies as yourselves and with the understanding that only the man perform with your wife. Lots of swinger couples are willing to help and do that, even to just be semi undressed in a room with you guys. Do not do it with a newbie swinger couple, that says that can do things as you also say.

- Talk it out... before. Set in stone the rules and boundaries. Think of everything. Would you also like to see her down on him? Condoms? Where? How long? Kissing? How many times? Do not laugh. What if he leaves her exhausted with a smile on her face after he brought her to peak ecstasy 2 5 or 7 times. Also, you join in? Now you have to ask the guy too, what kind of closeness and interaction can he stand.. or you.. or her. Meet again? This are just a few.

Yeah, it’s so easy, hot, damn sexy and lustful to just think of your wife being naughty with another man. All of the above thinking and planning it kills the desire.

If however it didn’t... than review this (your) whole thread.

Have fun and be safe.

I would say yes. (most times)

I'm sure that some peoples would not even read (pic is enough) a profile before sending the request.

C'mon what can you seriously do with hundreds (which is fine to have) of friends?

I'm sure for a woman even more than a man it must be exasperating at times. It could be however part of a normal selection.

I do agree that good etiquette should be practiced even online.

Have fun.

Topic Copenhagen Zoo now euthanises family of lions - What do you think?
Posted 26 Mar 2014 17:16

Uhm no - the visitors and kids actually got to watch the shooting and the butchering. There are videos of the whole thing online - which I would rather not watch.

Wow awfully sinister show. I didn’t know that they actually also watched the shooting and the butchering. No, I would not and cannot watch the videos. I would feel miserable.

Dancing_Doll, I can’t help think that someone who goes to the zoo to enjoy observing wild animals can actually stand there and witness the slaughter of one. No one that I know could. It also defeat the whole purpose of a wildlife conservation center. Now I'm mind boggled.

I’m trying to imagine the thoughts behind in doing this during zoo opening hours.

This wasn't going to pass in the US.

- Dead is more desirable than castration? Should have asked the animal. Hmm, it sounds like a good quote.
