I spend a lot of time posting comment pics on my friends' profiles. When I do this, I post the same pics for all my friends. My time is very valuable to me. It generally takes me over an hour to post comments on all my friends' pages. So I'm very selective on who I accept and keep as my friends. I don't generally accept blank add request, even from women. If you send one, I may look at your profile and if it interests me, then I will consider adding. But I want to know something about you--other than you want me to be your friend. Is that too much to ask?

Mostly, I come here to talk with friends. By friend, I mean someone that I would gladly hang out with in real life. I talk to them regularly and I generally know their names, often what they do for a living, etc. In other words, I care about them as people.

As I've actually been on Lush for quite some time, I have found several different stereotypes:
-- If you are one that comes here solely to trade pictures, move along. I love to post pics on my friends profiles and love when they post on mine. But if that's all you are interested in, then please don't add me.
-- If you are one that has that one kinky experience you would like to share, chances are you think it's much more exciting than I do.
-- If you have no intentions of ever talking to me, just love the idea of having another avatar to decorate your wall with, don't bother. I don't hold it against people for having 1000's of "friends," so long as you treat me like a friend rather than a trophy.
-- If you are easily offended and expect me to talk to you every time you are on, don't add me. I tend to talk to one or two people at a time to keep from ignoring everyone, so if you can't appreciate that, I'm not the friend for you.
-- If you are only here for roleplay and can't take No for an answer, then walk away. Chances are you are going to hear "I'm busy" or "I can't" from me much more often than "sure, let's play."
-- If you would delete me if you didn't see me on for a week, then don't bother. It's just not going to work if you are that needy.

If this sounds like I'm contradicting myself, you probably aren't the friend for me. Basically, I just want to be respected. When I see my friends online, I get a smile on my face just like I do if I see my friends in real life. If I KNOW you aren't going to say "Hi" to me when I see you online, if I continue to see your profile but have no idea who you are, then I'm not going to get that feeling and probably not going to keep you as a friend for long. At the same time, if it pisses you off that I'm busy, you'll likely be deleted before you can delete me, just like it would if a friend in real life got pissed off if I was spending time with someone else. It's all about mutual respect and understanding; if that's a foreign concept, then we can't be friends.

Now I realize that some people would like to keep in contact but not to the level of friendship. Perhaps you like my stories. Perhaps you just want to say hi or have a steamy conversation every blue moon. In that case, follow me. You don't need my permission.
